[Hey guys! If you don't mind, could someone summarize what happened since the last time I posted? I'm a bit too lazy to read all of this..just being a cry baby I suppose. But anyway, Arrow's looks are probably going to be changed, just giving an FYI and ill probably post a reference of him on the character thread, along with Kladd xD]

Frost walked along with the other rabbits to the warren. His ears twitched as an owl's hoot was heard. Smilimg, he stroked his feather. It was a long eared owl that hooting and he deeply wished it was his old friend, Midnight. Little did he know, it was Midnight calling out to him, trying to warn him about a fox.

"Gah, what did I teach him?" Midnight asked herself. She prepared herself to fly if the fox did attack. "The rabbits are quite lucky that I was in town."

[[@KC: Actually, not very much has happened. There's a couple of new strangers: Frost, who heals elil and has an owl friend; Gooseberry, who's a doe that has recently acquired a dislike for Fireweed; Naru and Bravlao who are only coming because there's a fox in the area; A buck named Bramble following behind and is the only one who knows of the fox that's pursuing the group, and I believe that's it. Arvens was killed by a hawk and now they're all sad and have just gotten back to the warren where Sage and Runt have just stopped talking.]]

(OOC: Ah, thank you Speedwell, I'll do my best to catch up ^^)

Arrow hopped alongside his allies as they made their way closer to the new warren, his nose twitching here and there at all the rabbit's new smells. Some smelled friendly and safe to be around, while others had a certain..essence about them that caused Arrow to keep his ears down in wariness. As he trailed behind in the back, Arrow couldn't help but feel his heart sag at the thought of one of their members already being snatched up by an elil. Arven's death was, indeed, sad for everyone, but the dark tawny buck managed to shake the guilty feeling out of his mind. Being from so many dark and violent warrens, Arrow wasn't the biggest softy when it came to deaths.

The silhouette of the group of rabbit's new home came into view, the noise and scents coming from the tree blowing through Arrow's small nostrils and whipped through his rather short fur. Some dirt mixed with twigs and prickles sticking into small patches of his dark coat, keeping himself from stopping and picking each piece out with his teeth. As they reached the warren, another thought - now more important for the rabbits, came across his mind. This topic was already picked up by another doe, but how would the ranks be filled in this new warren? Arrow knew the Chief was a no brainer; Rowan was obviously the clear leader of the group, but as for the rest was unclear. A couple does, and even a albino buck looked like they would make fitting healers, and there were plenty of does to go around for digging and doing work around the warren. But the owsla was still a mystery to Arrow, even though he had some solid ideas as to who would be doing what. Arrow couldn't help but smile a little at the thought of finally being in a peaceful warren, but a world of work and labor was far from over. There was still digging, food, ranks, and overall order to be laid out, but all Arrow could do now was lean against the rough bark of the tree an watch as the rabbits got acquainted with their new home.

Bramble noticed that the smell of homba was getting stronger as he tracked his way skillfully after the band of rabbits and the fox. It wasn't long before he spotted it. An amber furred fox, crouching stealthily in the grass and beyond that, hriar rabbits who seemed to be making their way slowly across the grass. Brambles nose picked up the smell of blood and he noticed that one of the does was limping and trailing a bit behind.

"The Homba is sure to have smelt that" he thought to himself. He was behind the fox who was down wind from the rabbits. Which meant that he was also down wind from it and safe from it's senses. He thought about circling around so he could give them a warning of some sort but wondered how he would achieve this with out the fox picking up his scent?

Bramble didn't have much time to think before things started to happen fast. He watched horrified as the Fox pounced onto the small injured doe pinning her down. He quickly stamped a warning that most rabbits recognized as "elil, elil". He shouted loudly in lapine "HOMBA", then with out a second thought, Bramble sped forward, throwing his full weight into the hind leg of the fox that he knew from her tracks was her weaker leg.

----------------

Vixen finally had her prey in her grasp and felt quite satisfied that the other long ears would surely flee, as was typical for their kind. She was about to grasp dinner in her jaws and carry it off, when she suddenly felt a heavy thud in her left hind leg. She toppled sideways with a squeal feeling a sharp pain aggravated by an old injury. The two animals toppled over the ground sending leaves flying in all directions. Vixen quickly regained her balance and turned on her attacker furiously, pinning him to the ground with a vicious snarl. New victim.

--------------------------------

Bramble Gazed upwards at the homba that he was now pinned beneath, her slavering fangs just inches from his face.

"This will surely be the end of me " he thought to himself. "How am I going to get out of this one?" he racked his brains for an answer...

((OOC- Hey everyone, meet Bramble... hee hee. He had to make a big entrance. Sorry for the drama there, and the big cliff hanger! Not sure how to get him out of it but hoping Midnight and Frost might have a plan? If not I'm sure we will think of something.))

Frost ran towards the fox. "Wait! Wait!" he yelled, but at the same time, Midnight took action. Taking off like a rocket, she flew straight at the fox, yelling at Frost in Lapin, "Frost, get down!" Frost's ear went up at that sound.
"Midnight?" he asked, swinging his head around, before dropping to the ground as Midnight stretched her talons to attack the fox.

Gooseberry felt an impact strong enough to force all the life out of her bombard down on her head. It felt like a boulder, if not for the dagger sharp claws that pressed like sheaves of thorns into her shoulder, her limbs, her neck. Suddenly, the injury in her foot seemed like a blessing compared to this whole new agony. Too afraid to open her eyes, she didn't let her self believe it when the pressure released and all the blood gushed like a flood back into her veins. Predators didn't just change their minds.....

Upon the impossibly great impact, Cayenne was knocked to her side, rolling back and feeling incredibly confused. As she steadied the world around her, the awful stench of fox filled her sense and she shot up, over taken by fear. The fox had Gooseberry, she saw, and struggled with her next move, hearing unrecognizable stamps and shouts. Everything around her was caught in a surreal moment of panic.

Just as she could feel her instinct taking hold of her, another rabbit--one that she did not recognize--came bursting from behind and tackled the fox as though expecting it to crumble. The fur on the back of her neck was standing straight up as she watched the fox roll off of Gooseberry and onto this other one--followed by the screech of an owl. Too many elil, she felt as though she would surely die if she stayed. Unable to breathe, Cayenne ran to where Gooseberry lay and took her scruff as though she were a kitten, pulling her away from the danger.

Now reaching the safety of the sticker bushes that lay just a few feet away, Cayenne let Gooseberry go and looked back, watching as the owl and fox engaged in an impossible combat. Although she was aware of the magnitude of the situation, Cayenne could not help but purse her lips and shake her head, allowing her mind to clear up just a tad. "Looks as though Rowan and Fireweed were keeping a fantastic lookout."

[[Lol, YOU HAD ONE JOB, ROWAN ;D]]

[[Well… What can I say in his defense?

….

Oops? ]]

It had happened so fast. First, fox had attacked the injured doe, Gooseberry. Then an unknown rabbit had come to her help and had been relatively successful. After that, everything had turned into chaos with everybody shouting, running or trying to do anything to help somebody.

Seeing the stranger pinned under the homba, Rowan decided to do probably the most reckless thing in his life. Although “decided” was the bad word, since it implied that he was thinking at the moment...

Rowan leaped at the fox’s back, sinking his teeth and claws in predator’s body, trying to force the stinking foe into releasing the new rabbit from its grip.

As Arrow started to get deep in thought with ideas of finally settling into a permanent warren, a nasty odor and the shrieks of fighting caused his dark fur to stand on end. Long ears turning towards the noise, Arrow's jaw dropped as his crimson eyes landed on the injured Gooseberry violently being attacked by the bright colored elil, along with another rabbit that came out of nowhere, wrestling the fox off of his friend until he now, was the victim.

Blood began to pump through Arrow's veins, a wicked smile creeping across his face. This is what he grew up to do, trained to do; fight. Just as Arrow crouched down and was ready to pounce into his enemy, he saw the brown body of Rowan leap onto the fox, skillfully biting into his painful weak points. His muscles began to lose tension as his eyes fixed on something else that was much more important; Gooseberry. The buck sighed and twitched his nose, carefully crawling his way over to the injured doe and looked down with caring eyes, which was odd for a rabbit like him. He gave a glance at Cayenne with a small nod. It was in his blood to fight, but now with a home warren, priorities must come first, and that means looking after your friends - well, family.

After Arrow knew Gooseberry was alright, he focused once again on the snarling, messy ball of fur that was attacking the warren. The owl that was clawing the fox was noticed, but Arrow didn't have time to question as to why it was attacking another elil and not its source of food. As long as it was doing harm to an enemy, Arrow paid no attention to it. The buck let out a load mix between a laugh and a yell, leaping forward with a crooked sneer on his muzzle. "C'mere, ya' stupid rotten filth!" He roared, latching onto the fox's left shoulder, scraping his sharp yet rather small claws down it's sides as he felt fur and skin tear underneath him.
