[[D'aww, I wasn't serious myrk, you have my internet fondness. And no, its fine, even if Fireweed did see the fox she probably wouldn't have raised alarm. Even now, she's just watching this go on and not joining to help because... she... doesn't see anyone in the group worth fighting for. xP GO PANCAKE I BELIEVE IN YOU *waves pompoms*]]

Gooseberry felt a surge of gratitude, once again, for Cayenne. She wasn't sure that if she hadn't of been moved she would have moved herself, but now that was over. Gooseberry snapped out of it. She had the sense to move even further back. Arrow, the daredevil from earlier, showed concern, proving to her for certain that even though they were all new to each other, they were one unit. As Rowan and the other unfamiliar brown rabbit fought the fox bravely, the unexpected addition of a stray owl, Arrow looking agitated at lack of action on his part, it was all rather a lot to take in. But the wounds had the same effect as a rising sun, they woke her up and started something new. Gooseberry was no weakling, and, hoping fervently that these rabbits didn't think a great deal of first impressions, stood up straight. The blood was warm and not uncomfortable. She doubted the diamond shape between her eyes was even visible anymore. But if all this was the price to pay to make a new life, she would pay it. More than anything, Gooseberry wanted to help out since it was more than likely the scent of her blood that had attract the elil. A crazy idea came to mind....... XD So I kind of got an idea to get rid of the fox but aren't sure since I think Pancake should have a chance to make what she may of the situation first since she said she'll post soon, so I'll wait on pancake Hmm....Silverweed? Are you planning to keep Vixen in the story? Sorry, its sounds like such a mean question :0 like I plan to kill of your character or something, which i dont! I'm just wondering what the fate of this fox is going to be after all this abuse from hardcore bunnies :P

((I suppose Vixen was going to run off and sulk for a while, maybe lurk around in the background for a bit. Wasn't sure what Frost might try to do. Perhaps contact me with your plan privately? Kind of didn't want to get rid of her entirely just yet. She's given them something to fight for and I've really only just brought her into it. Up to the others.)) |

The brown doe whipped around as she caught the smell of homba... Eww... Her nose wrinkled and she glared. She did notice the fox take ahold of the doe, then a strange buck attacked like the idiot he probably was, and he became what looked like the elil's next target. She feels her brother shaking, and merely glances at him... He knows what she wants, but doesn't know what to do... They aren't alone anymore, as nervous as he is Bralvao isn't comfortable just leaving them. Naru rolls her eyes. As far as she's concerned, these rabbits are the competition... Competition for food, and for survival. Should the fox grab one of them, the rest of them will survive another day. This is a rather rash and irritated thought, she knows better but is extremelly annoyed. Naru isn't stupid and would have both her and her brother run immediately, but obviously that isn't what's going to happen. Bralvao won't budge... She growls. She won't leave without her brother so decides to switch from defensive to offensive. Alone, only a fool would face a fox, but with other rabbits... Hmm... She's still not sure but narrows her eyes and shows her teeth anyway. Should the fox decide to lunge at her, she intends to make it known that this doe will not go quietly. Not now, not ever... Bralvao, in the meantime, hops over to Gooseberry, worried about her... He looks away though a couple times, still not quite used to being among so many rabbits. ooc: another bad post... lD I'll do better, I promise! |

((Vixen POV)) As if it wasn't enough trouble to be knocked sideways off of your dinner, Vixen caught the screeching cry of an owl and before she knew what hit her, she was being attacked by it! Since she knew that such birds did not normally prey on foxes, she could only assume that the owl was after her captive. An easy meal. "Get away" she spat angrily at it in hedgerow. "This one is mine, get your own entrée!" She swatted at the owl with one claw, missing it by a mile and keeping Bramble pinned with the other claw. The movement slightly off balanced her. Because Vixen was distracted by the attack of the owl, she failed to notice another rabbit charging towards her and leaping onto her back. She felt the jabbing sting of it's claws and teeth and the warm gush of blood running over her shoulders. Vixen let out a growl and snapped her head around wildly, grabbing the buck's forepaw in her teeth and clamping down hard. This was not her experience with long ears at all. It was a terrible thing when food sources bit back at you. She heard a distinctly lapine accent shouting at her in hedgerow. "C'mere, ya' stupid rotten filth!" and then felt yet another fodder specimen latch onto her left shoulder. This certainly wasn't her day at all! What on earth was Lord Sirius* putting in the grass? "%^&($#%@" She swore in Vulpini** and it was a good thing that the rabbits had not understood as it may have turned their ears red with embarassment! Vixen released the paw she had in her mouth and snapped at the second attacker, her fangs clamping together just inches from his ear. She slapped him across the snout with her right paw feeling with satisfacion that her claws had grated across his flesh and left a nasty scratch mark. The injury that it had caused to her left shoulder put her further off balance as she winced at the pain in her left foreleg. ((*Sirius is the Dog Star, In this incidence, the God of the canines. **Vulpini scientific name for the fox, in this case indicating her native language.)) ---------------- ((Bramble POV)) Expecting the other rabbits to run for safetly, Bramble had been trying to think of all the tricks of El-ahrairah that he had heard. The Fox in the Water came to mind and he was just about to say something cleverly deceptive to the homba when he realized that a jumble of activity was surrounding him. He heard a lapine voice yelling in hedgerow "Wait, wait" and was not sure if was to him, or to the homba. He then heard the screech of an owl as it attacked the homba. "Great, now I have two elil to deal with," he thought trying to think of any tales of El-ahrairah that involved more than one enemy. He was desperately fighting off a tharn attack, taking into consideration all of the advice that the mystics had given the owsla trainee's in his former warren. He concentrated on slowing his breathing, grounding himself and imagining he was in a nice safe place... The next series of events all seemed to happen in a split second. Bramble quickly realized that two of the strange rabbits had actually attacked the homba! He didn't really have time to wonder why they would do that on his behalf, having not even met him before, he simply reacted with his fight/flight instincts. Turning his head to the side he bit into the homba's left paw that was still pinning him down and kicked upwards with both back legs landing a nice solid kick right in the stomach. OOF! The homba gave a final scream and toppled off him, causing the rabbit on his back to fall to the ground. Then the homba limped away back in the direction it had come from, disopearing into the bushes as it called over it's shoulder in hedgerow "You haven't seen the last of me". Bramble scrambled to his feet and shook all over, as if trying to shake the smell of homba off himself. He was relatively uninjured other than a few claw marks on his shoulders. "Thank you" he panted in lapine, surveying the others. "Now maybe we should head for cover and assess our injuries. Is there any way we can get underground?" ((OOC - sorry for the long post. Just so much going on at the moment. Pancakes I thought it was a very good addition to the story. )) Edited by Silverweed, Feb 24 2013, 04:27:45 AM.

[[Wait, so just to clarify, it was Arrow that got hit in the face, right? Lol, that's what I'm going with. ;P I can edit if I got it wrong.]] The stench of fox hit Sage in one sudden moment as she sat and peered out from her burrow. Though she had no memory of ever facing a fox before, she knew well enough that the scent meant most certain death if she were to not stay covered. In a panicked frenzy, she began to hurriedly worm her way back down the burrow, mind blank with fear--but something else pushed up to the top of her thoughts. Nobody but her and Runt knew about this secret burrow--no one would be able to hide. With a heart pounding, she scrambled back up the burrow and rolled out of the tree, looking to where a couple of does seemed to be crouching under a bush, the scent of blood lingering in the air. "Back here!" she yelled, but the snarls of the fox and the screech of an owl drowned her out. Frustrated, she dashed forward, coming up behind this bleeding doe in hopes of quickly explaining where she might be able to hide. Instead, she found herself watching two bucks riding a fox as though it were a hrududu, one pinned beneath it, and a Frithing owl taking swipes at the beast. She may not have remembered very much about the world, but Sage was certain that this was not normal. As the fox scampered off into the woods, Cayenne watched in concern as the two bucks hit the ground, followed by the third one who had just rolled to his feet. Assessing the injuries, and no longer spotting the owl, she made her first beeline for Arrow, who had a gash in his face and had most certainly gotten the worst of the battle. She looked at him in concern, thinking that the cut needed to be cleaned, and muttered, "Do you mind if I, uh..." and then a blush formed under her fur, and she looked away somewhere--towards Gooseberry--in uncertainty. Then a voice tumbled out from the back of the group with an all-too-cheery twinge beneath it. Cayenne felt herself bristle as an unscathed Fireweed stepped out from the shade and approached the three wounded bucks, her face dripping with an all-too-involved concern. "That was so brave!" she said as though she could not contain her admiration. With a few graceful steps, the red doe had made her way to Rowan and was dipping her head to sniff at his bleeding paw, tending to the wound with a smoldering tongue. "Where would we be if not for you?" she said again, looking to the bucks with that girlish adoration. "ALL of you!" In her fondness, Fireweed seemed to topple forward, pushing her forehead into Rowan's neck and nuzzling him affectionately. Sage, now catching her breath after such excitement, was almost disgusted by the sight she was met with, and stood for a few moments undetected. She barely even made any movement as one of the new faces inquired about a burrow. As she tried to wrap her mind enough around what she had just seen, she found herself scanning the area for someone in particular--seeing the looks upon the faces of Dash and Rowan, the absence of Arvens... but somebody very important was missing. She stiffened and caught her breath with a tiny gasp, an alarm very loudly going off in her mind as she wondered: Runt? [[Lol, the cool thing about having so many RPers is that you get the story from a bunch of different POVs. :P OKAY SO, sorry for long post. xD I guess things can get wordy when managing three totally different characters. Sorey!]] |

(Midnight) The fox swatted at her! She backed off to distracted the fox as a male rabbit charged and leapt onto the fox. Pretty soon, the fox was outmatched and ran off. Midnight took a deep breath and went back into the trees to see what Frost would do. The poor buck was looking around for her. He must have seen her briefly before she attacked the fox. She had nicked his right ear by accident. Maybe later tonight she could visit him if he wasn't busy. ------------------------------------ (Frost) He had seen her only briefly, before that, he hadn't seen that black owl for years. And now, he was on the edge of the group as the does admire the other three bucks for attacking the fox. He felt a tinge of jealousy; his friend was the first one to do something. Then he remembered, they were not friends with Midnight. He had hoped she would stay longer to assure them she meant no harm. "She was my friend," he said the group. All of them looked at him in shock. "The owl; her name is Midnight. Yes, she is an owl, but I helped fix her wing; after that she swore she wouldn't eat rabbits out of my kindness." Then he switched to speaking owl, so Midnight was the only one listening to him, "So if you are up in the trees listening, I thank you. We could have lost much more if it hadn't been for you, my old friend." |

Gooseberry shot the little buck, so different from his sister, a comforting look. "I'm sure it's just worse than it seems," she assured him. Three rabbits! Three had gotten injured. Just how kind were these new rabbits. Gooseberry approached the rabbit that had been first to knock the fox off her, therefore, directly saving her even though she was a stranger to him. "Thank you for being so brave. You saved my life back there. It's not really my right to ask but I'm sure the others won't refuse, are you in search for a warren? If so would you consider staying with us? Those injuries look painful." She left him to consider it and limped over to Cayenne and where she was attempting some more medical aid. Gooseberry struggled not to laugh at her uncertainty and embarrassment. She gave a friendly smile with an obvious expression of 'good luck'. Arrow was intimidating and everyone was still getting to know one another. Suddenly, Cayenne's whole stature changed and Gooseberry followed her gaze. Frithing Fireweed was flirting like the bucks had fought just for her entertainment, and was flattered by it. "I'll tell you where I want you to be," Gooseberry muttered, so that only those very close to her could hear. "With your face in a pile of hraka." Blood and exhaustion didn't bode well with her mood and dear little princess had just stuck to the sidelines like an honorably special spectator. Then she swallowed her angst and pitched in with the healer stuff, if she couldn't fight or help out in that way, she would do whatever she could. wow, this is a lot of posts in a short space of time! |

Arrow clung on for dear life as the fox flailed and flung about with the massive amount of creatures all colliding on top of it's body. In the midst of being thrown about, the buck failed to notice, and dodge, the long claws that scraped themselves against the side of his face. Arrow let go within seconds, an agonizing pain turning into an infringing numbness that covered his whole face like a mask. The left side of Arrow's face was spilling blood like a waterfall, his eye sight on one side now completely disappeared, with nothing but shades of crimson in it's place. Panting, Arrow looked up with ears laid back against his skull, watching as the elil went limping back into the shadows. All seemed to go quiet, like the end of a dramatic battle when the victors rise out of the ashes with hearts hanging low for their lost ones, only this time there was no lost ones, nor that ever so common symbol of rain falling down on the heroes. Groaning, Arrow managed to roll onto his belly, his right front leg outstretched as his paws extended and clung to the grass in front on him while his left curled up against his chest, the dark brown fur now stained with his own thick fluid. He looked up with bright eyes as Cayenne came into view. He raised a brow at her muttering words, one side of his mouth drooping with confusion while the other perked up his cheek and making his eye squint, creating a 'what in the world are you trying to say?' look. A small gurgle sounded deep in his throat as he raised his body slightly to be equally level as the doe, giving her a small nod of consideration. "Do whatever you need to do..I doubt you'll be able to make me look pretty again." With a small, trailed off chuckle, Arrow cleared his throat and opened his mouth to speak. Before he could, a hyper and all-too-happy voice splintered his ears, making the large buck whip his head around with a huff. He spotted Fireweed nuzzling up against Rowan's body, a small growl escaping through a small opening of his mouth. Jealously? He'd like to think so, but Arrow knew this wasn't what he was feeling. Back when he was top owsla in most of his warrens, there was almost never a need to being jealous, since he was able to have any doe he chose, but now was different. There was no feeling of wanting for a doe that flirted with every buck she saw, her actions simply making Arrow roll his crimson eyes and look the other direction. Ignoring Fireweed's compliments and admiration towards Arrow and the others, the chocolate colored rabbit turned his attention back to Cayenne and lowered his gaze, waiting for her to continue as to whatever she was going to do. |

Rowan could hear Fireweed and he could feel her touch, but his mind was focused on entirely different thing. It was still processing the fact, that he had attacked a fox. A fox! He shivered at that thought. What had he been thinking?! Not much apparently. He was lucky, that this particular homba hadn’t been used to prey, which fought back. Who knew what would happen, if it hadn’t run off? Then again, what other choice he had got? Just let that fox kill the rabbit, who had saved Gooseberry? Rowan shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. He had to focus on here and now. Right now the pain from his injured left paw was finally catching his attention. The fox had made him bleed. But I made it bleed too, he thought with certain satisfaction, tasting liquid in his mouth. Something else caught his attention: Fireweed was nuzzling him affectionately. “Stop,” he said to her sternly. This really wasn’t the time. “The fox is still about and we need to get everybody into safety before it decides to come back.” “Frost, your owlish friend was more than helpful,” he said, turning to white rabbit. “I wish we could thank her personally, but that will have to wait.” He hadn’t found it very hard to believe, that Frost was on friendly terms with an owl. After all, he had been able to calm down the farm dog by simply introducing himself! Besides, even though idea of owl being an ally of a rabbit sounded completely crazy, it explained her actions: attacking the fox, instead of rabbits, and leaving after everything had been over. “You’re a healer, right? See what you can do for our wounded: Arrow and that other rabbit, the one who saved Gooseberry.” Before Frost could answer, Rowan turned to address other rabbits. “Everybody who has nothing to do: hide in our burrow or behind the ring of bushes that surrounds it. Dash and Fireweed here will show you the way, if you don’t know it. We need as few rabbits here in the open as possible.” [[Just to clear a few things. There is one burrow, that some of our rabbits slept in on first night; there is other burrow, which was found by Sage; there are bushes around those two; our heroes were attacked by fox outside of that ring of bushes. Is that correct or did I get it wrong? ]] Edited by Myrkin, Feb 25 2013, 06:59:55 PM.

The silver buck turns his head, watching in relief as the fox flees.... He manages to give Gooseberry a weak smile... "It doesn't change the fact that you are hurt, does it? And you could have... Well..." He stops, remembering what had happened with the fox... Bralvao sighs. "Anyways, I suppose that you're alright now..." Once again, not used to being in the middle of so many strange rabbits, Bralvao looked away. He jumped up as he heard Fireweed's statement and praise... For a moment he can't help but stare at her alarming pelt, but shakes his head... "Surely you don't mean me..." He shrinks back, knowing how he really didn't do anything, although it's quite obvious to him that the red doe probably meant everyone BUT him... The silver rabbits turns around... And hops over to his sister, Naruthyl... Deep inside, Naru felt a hint of disappointment. She had herself psyched up for a battle, and the embleer elil decided to turn tail and run away. She growls a little bit, then corrects herself. No, better to avoid conflict. Although she would have left all these rabbits to their fate if she could, she wasn't particularly fond of any of them but her brother had kept her here. Obviously, it doesn't matter which choice she had made, these rabbits are fine all by themselves... "Humph..." she says out loud, led to doing so by what is racing through her tiny head. "Frith has smiled upon them this day. Next time, mark my words, they won't be so lucky." She's about to turn around when she hears that idiotic red doe speak. Although she's only been here a short while, a combination of their first encounter and her obnoxious 'personality', Naru already hates her. Perhaps even more than she hates the other rabbits. She doesn't know much about her, but knows enough to dislike the doe. Although, it doesn't take much to tick Naru off... Out loud, without any shame whatsoever, even as her brother hides behind her out of his own meekness Naruthyl shouts out. However, although she is staring right into the eyes of Fireweed, her words never actually make it out. Bralvao has covered her mouth with his paw and held her head down, before stepping back. She turns around and glares at him, raising her paw threateningly. Her lighter brother cowers to the ground, with pleading eyes. He knows his sister wouldn't actually hurt him but she was scary enough anyways, to him at least. Softly her brother adds to his gaze the words, "Don't do anything stupid." Naru narrows one eye, giving her a slightly amused expression. Her brother doesn't often stand up to her, much less stop her like that. She backs off. "Heh... No promises." She turns around... And glances at Rowan at his words. What? Follow Fireweed? "Over my dead body!" Bralvaonahl, unlike his sister, isn't too afraid to do what Rowan asks... He starts to head over to Dash and Fireweed, He looks to see if his sister minds him doing this, but she doesn't seem to care, too focused on her reluctance at the moment... He nods to himself... Though, he doesn't know any of these rabbits... He feels alienated and odd without his sister by his side... He begins thinking to himself... Hmmm... What's a warren look like? He has no memory of being in a warren. ooc: Think I overdid it maybe a bit... Lol... Oh well. Eh, I think these two are gonna end up being background rabbits for a while since it's really difficult to get them too involved... |

[[From what I imagined, there had been a a scrape dug into the hollow base of a tree that they all had piled into, and Sage wormed into the back of it and found it to open into a run that led a small burrow which could probably uncomfortably fit the whole party, so they have a little bit of room that Sage will have to point out to them. And yeah, the fox appeared outside of the bushes, so she probably doesn't yet know that she was right on top of the warren :D]] Rowan was obviously in a military mindset, which knocked Fireweed off of her step for a few moments. She was indignant that her adoring act had been dismissed so easily by this great oaf of a buck who was so valiantly serving as ringleader to all of these mindless misfits. At her old warren, every buck and his brother would have stumbled over themselves at the bat of her eyelash--what was so different about here? Averting her gaze, she considered the fact that she perhaps had been overdoing it, and made a mental note to herself to renew her subtlety that she had been fleeing to earlier on. With a practiced facial expression of compliance, Fireweed gave Rowan a little nod and said, "I can show them." She peeled away and turned to face her audience just in time to catch a glint of dislike in Gooseberry's face--in response to which the red doe offered a bright, reassuring smile as though this other doe were a kitten. Jealousy thought Fireweed, a small laugh escaping nose as she silently joined Dash's side. How cute. As she passes Naru and Bravlao, she hears the hefty doe call out in resentment, and, instead of instantly getting angry as she might have at her old warren, Fireweed tried a new approach- opening her eyes very wide as though she just been struck while not look. Giving Naru a genuinely hurt look, Fireweed almost whispers, "It's not very far... I, uh, I don't think..." she looks towards Dash sheepishly as though hoping for indication as to whether she had gotten it right. Her mind was racing for the most innocuous thing she could possibly say, but already that little buck was following her. She smiles her well-rehearsed smile at him and continues towards the bushes. Cayenne, snapping away from the sight of Fireweed, turned back to Arrow and re-examined the cut. Sighing and deciding this was no time to be squeamish, she leaned in and attempted to suppress the bleeding with her tongue, tasting the salty blood that continually escaped the wound, but feeling the flow begin to taper off. It could be worse, she was telling herself. She supposed that, in any situation, being the doe that healed a buck was embarrassing in a sense. At least she wasn't bursting with excitement for it like Fireweed had been. "It doesn't look so bad," she reassured the intimidatingly sized buck. "It doesn't hurt a lot, does it?" Sage was almost overwhelmed by all of these new rabbits as she looked around with curiosity. Apparently that white one was a healer... the one that Cayenne was helping must be some sort of a fighter... and these two here beside her--she turned to look as the little brown buck cowered before what must be his sister. She was truly menacing, and Sage was almost ready to pounce forward and stop this doe from hurting the frightened little thing. But as he began to walk away, she sighed, and simply turned to walk beside him after Fireweed's lead. No, she had never spoken to him before in her life, and he must have wondered where she had come from seeing as she was not apart of the group that had arrived, but she recognized a terrified creature when she saw it. In her sympathy, she gave him a reassuring nuzzle and a smile. "Looks as though you nearly got skinned," she muttered to him, giving him a few blinks. Then a light laugh- a tad forced, but she was only trying to make the best of the situation. "D'you think you're gonna be okay?" [[Pancake, don't you dare send your characters to the back! I'm growing incredibly fond of them, and they're only just beginning to mingle. I'm really digging the way that the both of them are developing a somewhat trust for the strangers. (( OOC- Myrkin Yes that's what I thought too, they were just in front of the burrow which is hidden by bushes. Wow you guys, a fox attacks and suddenly everyone springs into action and posts. Loving all your responses.)) (Brambles POV) Bramble eyed the red furred doe as she approached them. He couldn't help but admire her beautiful fur. Such an attractive color. However she seemed to be the doe of the brown buck (Rowan) so he quickly dismissed his thoughts and turned his attention to more important things. "Are you alright?" He asked the chocolate furred buck (Arrow) who seemed to have the worst injuries. "My name's Bramble, thank you for helping me out of that." A doe had approached them and was offering to help the chocolate buck. He assumed she was some kind of warren healer. He decided it was best to let her do her work. Bramble hopped forward in search of the doe who had been attacked by the homba, hoping to see if she was alright. He then realized that she was approaching him. She thanked him and asked him if he was looking for a warren to join. She then hopped off towards the healer doe. The first thought that came to his mind was that this was no time for idle chit chat... but a good time to get underground and safe, to tend to the wounded, introduce each other and then discuss more trivial things. However he did not want to offend anyone so he suppressed his urge to bark orders about getting out of the open he followed her and then and answered. "You're more than welcome. I only wish I could have gotten here sooner. I've been tracking that fox for miles." He now noticed how blue were the eyes of this doe. Deep sparkling blue. Quite stunning. She seemed fairly well muscled as if she had spent many hours moving about. A quick assessment of her told him that she was the kind of doe who would possess good stamina over long distances. Very much like himself. "Don't worry about my injuries..." He said, trying to focus himself back to the situation at hand. "They really aren't that bad. Not compared to the others." He glanced briefly over his shoulder to check on the progress of the healer. There was a mild pain in both his shoulders and scratch marks from where the homba's claws had dug in. A trickle of blood had trailed down from the wounds and matted in his fur. "I was actually hoping to see how you were. Did it hurt you?" He sniffed at the older injury in her paw. He could smell the vague scent of rust. Not good. "You'd better that seen to" he advised her. "There is rust in the scent. Those kind of wounds can become very red and swollen if not kept clean." He wondered if he should try to lick her wound clean, but hesitated. He'd only just met her and wasn't ready to be swatted across the face for being too forward. "I'm not actually looking to join a warren," he continued. "I'm trying to get back to my own. My name is Bramble. I was captured by man and taken far from my home. I don't suppose you've heard of Oakwood Warren have you?" It was then that Bramble was distracted by the brown buck (Rowan) who was addressing a white buck. So the owl was an ally to one of the rabbits. He'd heard tales of such things but never encountered it in person before. The brown buck was telling everyone to get underground. Well at least someone had some leadership and sense around here! Bramble hopped forward, obeying orders as if he was back in his old warren and followed the fiery red furred doe, whose name he now knew to be Fireweed. Appropriate name, he thought. As he passed the white buck he said "Tell your owl friend that I am most grateful. She saved my hide." Then continued on after the red doe. ((Gah can't wait til we are all introduced so I can just use names of rabbits instead of descriptions.)) (Vixens POV) Vixen scrambled and limped over the edge of the bank until she found some shrubbery to hide in. She knew that a trail of her own blood had been left behind her so she would not be able to hide here for long. Her left leg and shoulder were both badly damaged and she had pains in her shoulders and back. She found herself unable to put her paw to the ground at all much less move her wounded shoulder. She licked at the paw, trying to stop the bleeding from the bite but wasn't able to reach her shoulder and back were the other two long ears had injured her. She made a plan to slink back to her den as soon as the bleeding subsided. No use leading other predators to her secret hide out... She waited, watching the skies in case the owl should return.

Hmm....Silverweed? Are you planning to keep Vixen in the story? Sorry, its sounds like such a mean question :0 like I plan to kill of your character or something, which i dont! I'm just wondering what the fate of this fox is going to be after all this abuse from hardcore bunnies :P
