I believe this duel would eventually come to an end, but so far, Blackberry and Silverweed are battling for our favor for over two pages already and their score is exactly the same as it was when they started.

I don't know about you, but the Black Rabbit starts to be a bit impatient.

So what about bringing another mechanics into the game: The Trial of Ghosts.
There were originally 33 characters in the beginning. I suggest that with every round, the Black Rabbit would recieve a counter (representing a ghost of the past character). And once he would hit the number 32, there will be no more ghosts to join the trial, so he would take the one with less points from the game to join his realm, leaving the other to becoma a winner.
(I believe that 32 rounds is enough to give a chance to turn the tables same like defending the leading position)

What do you think?

I agree that this is getting way too long. The idea you suggested sounds interesting. How long would each round last?

So... In short, when there are two rabbits left standing, the one with fewest points automatically dies?

By round I mean one person posting. So instead of this:
rabbit one -1
rabbit two +1

You'll be posting this:
rabbit one -1
rabbit two +1
Black Rabbit +1

together with the total count of points.

Not automatically, but after a limited period of time, the weaker one would die (even if the difference is just one point).
There can be also a tie on the critical round, in that case the next round would decide. However, since we lost one point somewhere during the play, we now have only 29 points in the game, so there is no chance for a tie anyway.

So after 32 more posts, if the game is not over, the one with the most points wins?

Alternatively, we could call it a tie, naming both Blackerry and Silverweed winners, and then start another round with all characters. :)

Okay. Let's give Foxbrow's idea a try. :) If by 32nd round we will still have two rabbits, then the one with fewer points will automatically meet the Black Rabbit of Inle.

Blackberry 21
Silverweed 8

:blackberry +1
:silverweed -1
