Bigwig nodded, smiling proudly. "Of course. They didn't stand a chance to us."

Fiver looked nervously at Moss and unnamed Efrafan. Somehow he didn’t think they were appreciating Bigwig’s bragging about Watershippers’ victory over Efrafa. It was better to change the subject and quickly.

“Uhm… Gray? If I remember correctly, you visited Sandleford with your family. Are they around?” he asked the red-eyed rabbit.

Grey noticed Fiver's expression, though it took him a moment before he understood what Fiver was so worried about, when he did he responded to bigwig, "If they had no chance then you wouldn't have that many scars" he commented before looking at Fiver just in time to hear the question, his expression changing quite quickly to a more depressed expression, "Gone, passed through the area hrair days ago, I was the only one that survived of my family, the rest were killed by a efrafan patrol when they refused to be taken in, I still have nightmares about it."

„Killed…? I’m sorry, Gray,” Fiver said with sorrowful expression on his face. Even though he hadn’t been close friends with either Inle-thlay or his family, it saddened him to hear of their death. He had talked with them shortly only a few times back in Sandleford Warren, but he could remember them being nice and friendly rabbits.

“You’re welcome to stay with us, if you want,” Fiver said to Inle-thlay, ”Many Efrafans are living with us now, so we have a bit of room problem right now. At least till we dig more burrows. You can share mine for the time being though.”

Arkose nodded. "Right. I'll leave the pair of you together - You, after all, are too weak to do anything," he added, looking at campion, "And you being a doe that's clearly not much up to fighting." He frowned, taking a closer look at Blackberry. She wasn't unattractive by any stretch, but certainly she seemed soft-spoken and quiet, not at all a fighter. "You don't seem very... Very, ah, used to the conditions of Darkhaven. I, ah... I can... Get you some sort of bedding? Maybe?" he fumbled awkwardly, not used to being polite.

"Thank you," Blackberry said gratefully. She glanced at Campion and wondered what he would do if she tried to have a conversation with this Darkhavener. She decided to risk it. "I'm Blackberry. What do they call you?"

(Anybody know what happened to Ember? She seems to have disappeared.)

Gray sighed and tried to cheer up a little again, he'd not dwelled much on it, he could do that later after things calmed down, "Don't be sorry, no way you could have known or hindered it, it's been a while ago now, anyway I wouldn't mind helping dig out more space in the warren, it seems a pleasant place to be, and thank you for the offer Fiver."

after he said that he shifted slightly, somewhat uncomfortable with so many rabbits staring at him, mostly because his fur and eyes were somewhat odd in colors, and partly also from him apparently having either managed to move away from an efrafan patrol undetected or just straight up outrun the patrol altogether.

Bigwig nodded. "That'd be very helpful, Grey."

Arkose nodded at her. "My name's Arkose," he told her, trying his best not to sound overly short or flat. As they walked, he noticed a few discarded blankets and dragged one out as well as he could. "So, are you two of a warren, or did you break off for your own?"

Campion felt an instant surge of derision to Arkose, but he told himself it was only because of the way he had been individually spoken too. "What do you think I would do if left alone in good health?" He muttered, but then the pain of his wounds unanimously exclaimed in protest of his avoidance of sleep. He wondered at Blackberrys calm take on his referral to her as a doe 'who clearly isn't up to much fighting. The power of her intellect should suffice. They talked and he smothered the urge to wack Arkose. They went off together and he put his head on paws, and thought about how array his avid plan was already going.

(Hey! I know I ve been absent :( ember apoligises and is happy to see you all. Just life and when it smacks you in the face.)

"Well..." Blackberry paused, remembering what Campion had told her. "We were part of a warren until a few days ago. But..." she paused again as if the utterly false memory pained her, "Our entire warren was wiped out in a forest fire. We're the only ones left." She glanced back at Campion, and wasn't quite sure if he was asleep or if something was wrong. "Excuse me for a moment, Arkose," she said, "I'll be right back," She turned and hopped over to Campion. "Campion, are you all right?"

(Is OK. Believe me I know about that sort of thing. Happens to me a lot. It had just been a long time and I was wondering.)

He spoke with his eyes closed. "Hmm nice choice of tragedy. Lets hope he isn't onto us."

He pricked his ear, and watched Arkose out of the side of his eye. "No big deal, my wounds are bothering me. I can help out too." He stood up bravely. "Really, I want to."

Gray smiled, "I'd be happy to help, in whatever way I can, my family might be gone, but that doesn't mean I should sulk over it and ignore helping where I can, that and this seems like a great warren to be in, if a little crowded at the moment."

Arkose flicked up an ear, nodding approvingly. He wouldn't admit it, but he couldn't help but rather admire Campion's resolve, given the situation. No doubt for the doe, but still. "Ready to go, then?" he asked, leaping a few paces.

"I suppose," Blackberry replied, "If Campion is up to it, that is." She turned to the buck. "Are you all right to keep on going?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," Campion said evenly, and discreetly slipped between the two. He slyly turned his head at an angle to observe Arkose. "What do you plan to do with us?"
