Luccio Miglione

King of the Underworld
Account Name: Clarent

Name: Luccio Miglione
Race: Demonic/Half Undead (.5 Speed Ratio Increase, .5 Magic Ratio Decrease)
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 170 lbs
Guild: -
Vehicle/s: -
Class: Priest
  • Physical Appearance: About average height of 5'10" with a slim athletic build, Luccio is actually a rather handsome young man. His face is is still young even for his age, lacking any signs of facial hair and has a long thin nose, big grey-blue eyes, and a small set of lips that seem to rest naturally in a pouting expression or perhaps just a bored one. His long and messy white hair, only partially managed with a black metal hair band to keep it out of one of his eyes, often falls into his face. His skin is pale to match his other features like his hair which gives him almost a sort of grayscale in terms of his overall coloration. Underneath his clothes, if he was ever seen with a shirt missing or undressed, you would see a strange black scrawl covering most of his skin in some language unfamiliar to even the brightest scholars in tetra. The black 'words' and text move across his skin slowly and have gotten more dense over the years, many people believe it related to whatever curse the young man has, but no one is sure.
  • Clothing: His clothing typically consists of a few layers. The base layer is a long sleeved shirt and pair of white cloth pants. Over his chest he wears a grey leather vest which is held together by a set of straps on the left side and a darker black leather strap that covers his heart and also servers as a strap to hold his weapon on his back for easy reach. The vest has black fur trimming on the shoulders, the bottom and a thick collar of the same fur material, and the shoulders also sport a light grey pattern. His arms are covered by leather arm guards of the same color as his vest, but have the pattern of the vest's shoulders up and down their whole lengths. The arm guards also share the fur trim and are laced shut with black leather laces up and down the whole length. His hands are covered by light metal gauntlets. Around his waist, a small loop of chains dangle from his pants, good for hanging a bag or a small pocket from, and a black sash which dangles off to the side of his legs. His legs are covered by black leather boots with a black fur lining. The boots go up to his shins, though the lining goes up further to the top of his thighs and are held in places by a set of chain like straps in a crossing pattern mid thigh. Over all, his appearance combined with his outfits gives him a monochrome color scheme, fitting of someone from Vector.
  • Accessories: A small black metal hair band that is usually at a slightly askew angle in his hair, typically he uses it to keep his hair out of his right eye.
  • Extra:He's often accompanied by a floating and talking book, Grimorium Verum, which acts as a speaker for him. It has a heavy metal cover with a sort of face molded into it and thick vellum pages with strange text in an ancient language, though the spirit inhabiting the book can change the text based on what Luccio is thinking so long as he is touching the book. The book was created by Luccio's mother when he lost use of most of his voice from an old spirit of intellect.

Personality: Luccio is pretty relaxed generally speaking. His history with his mother and father's rather strict public personas and reputations, he's used to people being strict and generally irritating in his presence and asking him to behave certain ways. Luccio has sort of just gotten used to going along with a lot of things that would rub many people the wrong way, such as following orders of a hard ass, or just generally annoying personality traits. His lack of normal speech also has made him a good listener over all. It has led him to pay more attention to the things people say and the noises of his surroundings, while hardly super human or beast like in that regard, he's above average just from practice and his unique mindset.

Due to his inability to speak in more than whispers, Luccio has also developed a rather expressive set of expressions to indicate his emotions more clearly to others, so that he can communicate his general reactions and feelings even without the use of Grimorium Verum. He can also use sign language fluently, but in general he finds the skill not particularly with people outside of his immediate family and servants tend not to be very receptive to is and because of how useful his book can be.

He is quiet due to his curse and while he tends to think rather sardonic or sarcastically to most people despite his laid back attitude, he cuts his friends a bit more slack. He'll sometimes use his book to express such feelings but tends not to do so as it only makes more problems and drama for him, but sometimes he cant help himself. This has gotten him into trouble quite a few times with his mother.

Luccio is often the subject of a lot of praise as a result of his noble heritage, which he doesn't particularly enjoy. He finds people treating him particularly special as a result of his linage kind of bothersome, as he doesn't feel he deserves such treatment as he doesn't have many accomplishments to his name. While his mother and Grimorium Verum might disagree in that regard, he finds it troublesome outside of his mother's company. He likes to be treated like a normal person outside of his mother's company and will often apologize on behalf of the book if it causes issue over people treating him as a normal person.

Luccio also enjoy's music greatly, often humming or playing a strange facsimile of many instruments created by the bit of magic Grimorium Verum's has. He sometimes uses the book's voice as a way to sing as well, as it can imitate various sounds and voices allowing it to sing for him, often in dead languages and such the spirit inhabiting the book has picked up over the years.

History: Luccio was born in Vector to a pair of well known mages. His parents were members of an incredibly well renowned four man team of demonic mages in Vector who had achieved noble status known as the four archfiends or the four elemental emperors. His father, Scarmiglione, was the fiend of earth, a powerful necromancer and undead demonic who specialized in earth magic. His mother was Rubicante, the fiend of fire, an unparalleled fire sorceress. Because of this, Luccio was raised as a noble and was fairly well known to those who followed Vector's famous and nobles. He was raised privilege, but in a strict household as both of his parents had to keep up their images as powerful mages and nobles. Luccio went along with it obediently, not the sort to complain for what he considered first world problems, and was trained in magic. At one point he was a relatively talented black mage.

That is before an accident involving an unstable crystal relic left him with some sort of curse, twisting his magic in strange directs. The curse left strange moving tattoos on his body and robbed him of his voice. While he did eventually regain the use of his magic in a controlled form, his talents shifted to a different area, white magic. The issue of course is that even though he has the ability to use the craft including holy magic, unusual for the son of an undead and a demon, something is off about some of his spells. His dia spells in particular are a strange almost harsh light and feel wrong, often covered with glowing scrawl similar to the tattoos on his body. His mother consulted a spirit of intellect to help watch over the strange curse, binding it to a book, Grimorium Verum. The book also serves to aid the young man in communication, as it can speak and move freely on it's own, even able to rearrange it's own text to serve as a note pad for Luccio to 'speak' as it were.

Equipment:
Weapon's/Armor's/Item's Name: Catalyst Blade
Material: Materia Lv. 1 Steel
Description: A long steel sword with a single edge made of black metal and a diamond shaped flange that barely protrudes above the black hilt. The blade of the four foot long sword is rough and looks poorly maintained, but is still sharp and easy to cut with, making it look more like it tears roughly into it's target like claws or fangs. Luccio often uses it to call out his magic by "cutting" it out of the space around him, though the act is thought to be largely symbolic by other members of the mage's guild.
