  • Physical Appearance: Cyrus is a tall man with smooth brown skin, such that lacks any sort of blemish while also being noticeably cold to the touch. He has a slender frame while also being considerably toned, being nicely proportioned like an athlete or someone who takes care of their body. He sports snow white hair that is kept medium length and unkempt, with it's ends starting to curl. He has an extra large fringe to cover most of the right side of his face. His eyes are baby blue, with a cold sharpness about them that best suggests his typical behaviour around people. During certain moments, his eyes turn bright red and look much more sinister, even appearing cat like to some.. He usually has a normal, perfect set of teeth, but he can change their shape to match that of a feral predator on a whim. Having been mutated by the Gemini curse so that his beast magic remains active at all times, he has two large wolf-like ears jutting out of either side of his head, being positioned to being more outwardly, though he can move them at will. While Cyrus has retained his youthful appearance, this is very misleading as his true age is well beyond a hundred, making him older than virtually any ordinary person he comes across.

  • Clothing & Accessories: Cyrus's typical outfit is as one would expect of an ex-mercenary, preferring concealing robes and protective gear while also being able to move quickly. He wears a pair of trousers that are dark blue and knee length boots that are reinforced with metal plating, along with metallic knee guards to provide extra support. His upper body consists of a blue, revealing vest that covers the front and leaves most of the back bare, aside from the thin blue strips keeping the vest together. Both of his arms are strapped down in protective black leather and metal, while his hands enjoy the feel of thick brown leather gloves. Over his vest, he wears a large collared mantle that is grey in colour, having it buttoned up to around half way down his chest to make it appear like a wait coat of sorts, while the rest of the fabric flows freely down to his knees.

    On rare days, Cyrus switches out his usual war like outfit for a more classical look, wearing a black and red suit consisting of dress pants, black shoes, a red version of his vest, a white dress shirt and a large black cape with a very wide collar, being bright red on the inside.

Personality: From afar, Cyrus appears to be a cold and sinister looking man who would rather do you harm than anything else, but this is more or less not the case, as he is in fact a calm, stoic individual with an air of tranquillity about him. While it is true that he prefers to keep his distance from people, this is mostly due to his own poor experiences instead of merely disliking the company. He keeps a cool head in most situations, remaining composed and aloof as he has made a habit of not letting people read his feelings, since it makes his line of work easier.

He is not very talkative at first, but should he actually warm up to someone, then his aloof shell cracks and he lets loose, revealing himself to being more of a kinder soul than originally imagined. Once he gets to know you, he'll smile and joke around with you as he sees fit, revealing to have quite the sense of humour. While he doesn't really have any need for it, he is someone that is more likely to be influenced by something to gain rather than doing anything for the sake of it, having been a mercenary for the good portion of his life, however he is not above helping people out on a whim or if they seriously need it.

Despite his profession, he is actually a rather peaceful person, preferring to settle things in a diplomatic way so long as ordinary people are concerned. Although he doesn't show it outwardly, he has a great love for all things mechanical, which of course includes but is not limited to guns. His expertise really only extends to firearms but his appreciation for the trade is apparent, and he is grateful to have seen the ongoing change in machinery over his long life span, being about the only pro he could think of for being given this curse.

In battle, Cyrus has a bleak change in persona, as he becomes fearless, reckless and merciless towards his enemies. Having been a mercenary for a long time, and someone who had been afflicted with the gemini's curse, Cyrus constantly walks in the balance of good and evil, having to keep his darker half in check so that he doesn't go wild. As he is immortal, Cyrus sees no problem in letting himself get hurt so long as it meant gunning down the enemy, especially if that enemy happened to be a monster that had ties to the great evil he was seeking.

Cyrus has a long standing hatred for monsters and creatures of the night, seeing them as abominations that need to be destroyed, so should he encounter one, he would do everything in his power to silence it. His true reasoning for doing so is because most of their origins can be traced back to the person who turned him into the monster he is today, so in his mind he believes that finding more monsters means getting closer to that person.

The mercenary is a rather blunt person, as his time spent drifting in and out of society for so long as made it hard to keep his social skills in check, though it's due to a subconscious desire to see the other persons reaction, since he had been at this for so long. As rough as he might be, he is tender to those who deserve it, treating his friends well and even going as far as to help them should they need it, though he is constantly plagued with the fear of one day losing them, since he is immortal, which all spans back to why he prefers his own company in the first place.

Being an immortal, Cyrus is more than aware of how unstoppable he really is, meaning he has an overly inflated level of confidence to the point that normal threats won't even phase him, and even being harmed isn't enough to deter him, as his sense of pain is dulled so he doesn't care much for getting hurt, though it is hard for him to remember that the people around him aren't as indestructible as he is.

Having lived for so long, Cyrus is undoubtedly a worldly man with much experience when it comes to the opposite sex, however the idea of a relationship and even settling down has been lost to him so long as he keeps this curse affixed to him, though he does dream of one day freeing himself of it so he can enjoy such a peaceful existence. While he doesn't need to eat or sleep, he likes to do both in excess, as he believes that holding onto those traits are what allows him to stay mostly whole and not the true abomination he was supposed to be. He is also quite a heavy drinker, though fortunately he is able to get drunk, another thing that has helped kept him sane.

History Cyrus was born to an impoverished family in Deling City, however he was fated to never remember their faces as they were forced to sell him off to a travelling mercenary band when he was only a few years old. Having been taken in by that rowdy group from such a young age, he was trained how to fight and how to handle weapons, as was expected if he wanted to stay fed and clothed. Cyrus developed a specific interest in firearms, and became much more proficient at it than the others, making a name for himself.

He wasn't the only youngster taken in by the mercenary group, as they made a habit of picking up orphans and other misfits and training them up to make a greater force that could get better yields. One such person was a kid that was about his age, called Lyca. Lyca was as skilled with a sword as he was with a gun, and as the two grew older, they both became very prominent in their circle, eventually becoming the joint commanders by the time they were adults. He grew to be friends with just about everyone in their group, seeing them all as his brothers and sisters despite their rough nature, and of course, Lyca was someone he cared about as well.

As adults, the group would go into warring realms and help the monarch or leader in charge for a fee, being the expendable warriors they use to snuff out a resistance or rebellion that would otherwise crush their kingdom, so all in all their group became quite rich in their exploits. While Cyrus was perfectly content with this life style, Lyca had an odd yearning that couldn't be satisfied with simple conquest, instead wanting to go into unknown territories and discovering lost secrets. One day, having found an odd map, Lyca managed to convince the group and Cyrus to head out on an expedition to find it's secrets, with the gunner having only agreed after being promised riches.

Nothing came from that expedition except the deaths of all his frinds, all except Lyca, who vanished after being cursed, leaving Cyrus to suffer the same fate on his own. Unable to cope with the loss of his friends and that harrowing betrayal, Cyrus distanced himself from society and became a nomad, travelling the world while doing all he could to find his old friend. Over the years, Lyca's influence grew, just as her powers did, with strange monsters rising from the woodwork, carrying both her scent and dark agenda.

The cursed man had no choice but to leave a bloody path in his wake as he bid to find her, vowing to leave not a single trace of the evil that Lyca had unleashed, and to find a way to undo the curse that she had forced on him.

Description: An ornate flintlock pistol made of wood and steel, with a curved handle and an incredibly long barrel, allowing for better aim and more power. The longer barrel also makes for a decent bludgeoning weapon, should he find the need to use it in such a manner.

Gemini - Blood Fiend Materia - A Materia that gives the user command over their own blood, capable of making it dance to their very whim in the form of attack or defence. Users of this materia have an insatiable craving for the blood of others, while their own becomes corrupted and venomous to anyone else other than a chosen few, such as another vampire. While the user can use their own blood, he can simply convert his mana into blood instead, sparing him the need to cut himself.

Description: After transforming either hand into a claw, they then deliver a powerful swiping motion, dealing 110% Strength Damage while aiming to carve through whatever it is aimed at.
