And it shall be great. 12 is certainly a number. For a frog. Edit #1: Art is the thing that binds the soul of flying birds to the shakles that make the wisemen sing praises to the heavens that bestow greatness upon those who would accept what little control they hold over the changing of the tides that ensure the working minds of the machines that make the world spin around the orb of hydrogen that we call home. Edit #2: Music is the art that vibrates through the air and makes all the things that feel like the makings of a human enter into the consciousness of the observer. Music itself holds no value, only the experience that it brings holds any relevance to the overarching wholeness of the individual's being and contributes to the general greatness of the existance that will later translate itself into music. Edit #3: Nothingness is the thing that is the absence of things existing within the region being called nothingness in which there are no things for the nothingness to iterate itself as because it lacks a self (e.g. —). Which of these three seems most likely to be the person playing the song?\ That will divide the genres pretty well, I think. |

I think the two best genres are music I like and music I don't. My collection is extremely biased towards one for some reason. >__> |

I like some music you don't like, though. I can't believe you'd lump it with music I don't like! |

Paul McCartney looks the most alive of the three so he can handle most of it. |

Who plays the music of my people? Who is the kid with the tape recorder who goes around recording birds, cars and anything else he likes to listen to (like the rustling of leaves in the wind?) Who is the guy sitting at the computer, who makes more precise changes to his work than any musician before him could have? |

It would fit into Paul McCartney because he probably owns a tape recorder and is alive enough to use it. |

I'd rather describe music to someone by telling them what other music it sounds like specifically. If you use genres and stuff people get completely different ideas of what you are talking about. So many people have different ideas of what genres are. If you tell 10 different people that you are forming a rock band they probably would all imagine 10 very different sounds. Not everyone knows artists by name. Some people know what soul music sounds like without knowing any soul musicians by name. (I would also fit soul music into Paul McCartney's "Other" (Jazz/Classical/Other) because the other two don't look like the type to sing like that and he looks like he might just hire someone to do it for him.) |
