And another thing.

Zombies. :ohmaigoodness:

I haven't played actual zombie games much, but those I have seen simply do not compare to how horrifying the zombies of Oblivion are. They're pudgy green naked people with cheese legs torsos that waddle like excited babies as soon as they see you, swinging their entire upper halves at you haymaker style. And the sounds they make. By Azura the sounds.
Nothing I've ever seen in a non-horror game has been more disquieting. Bethesda went to the bottom of the Uncanny Valley and dug a well, then buried their zombies in the bottom of the well. The relatively old graphics might actually make it worse. I feel badass fighting draugr. I feel like I need new pants fighting zombies.
Look at them. Look.
...Now that I think of it, the fact that this isn't a zombie game may help make the zombies that much more frightening. They're not normal. They're not what you came here for. You may not be shocked to find them, but they're an unpleasant surprise.

Yes zombies are very disquieting.

Also I can't find the book I want to reference for that other argument. :P

I would get some games, but most of the games I want for xbox. Do you know how much it costs for a NEW xbox 360 WITH kinect? 250 quid. That's about 4 months of saving up, PLUS I want a new laptop. It would take me 8 months to save up for both a laptop and xbox.

Anyway, back on topic I'm not really playing any more games at the moment. Sonic Unleashed and Black knight have died :(

Life without problems is like a book with no plot. No point.

Generations is good.
I agree.

My only problem with it is that it was way too short...

so was the original sonic games though when you think about it :/ The first few could all be beaten in less than 6-8 hours if you knew what you were doing >.>

I find that most sonic games have a high replay value, IMO.

I remember a time when I would replay the first mission in CoD: MW over and over again. I need to buy that game.

In this thread, Dr. Stupid asked if he was missing out on playing Fallout games. It depends on if you're playing the old Black Isle games (1/2/Tactics/BoS) or the new Bethesda games (3/NV). I've been meaning to give the older games a go-around, but haven't had the time or technology.

IMO, 3 lacked the shiny mechanics that NV had, but NV missed the powerful atmosphere 3 used. Both were good, but fell short when looking back.
