The 40 Nickel Madden Gaming Community is a sim style club for people who play the Madden NFL video game series. We endeavor to develop a Community where membership can socialize and peacefully interact with each other.

By joining the 40-Nick you are welcome to participate in our leagues and tournaments, play in our pick up games and listen to our podcasts.

The following rules of conduct are enforced by the leadership of the 40-Nick to maintain our Community standards.

  • Hate will not be tolerated here. Period.


  • You may not post P0rnography of any kind: no exposed nipples or genitalia, and no kind of explicit or illegal imagery.


  • Political and Religious threads will be removed when they become hateful or an eye sore on the forum. This is a Madden NFL gaming club.


  • We do not allow spam of any sort. Nor do we allow membership to use our forum to recruit, preach or impose upon members of the club.


  • You may not come to the 40-Nick to promote your website, forum or league.


  • Take personal disputes to PM or to email or use your ignore function to ignore those you can't tolerate.


These are the Rules of Conduct for the 40 Nickel Madden Gaming Community.

If you join the 40-Nick you'll be able to access our Community boards. All prospective members must review our rules of gameplay, register and schedule try out games on the boards.

Welcome to our Community.

The 40 Nickel Madden Gaming Community is a club strictly for Madden NFL sim-style PS3 gamers.

Simulation style, or "sim style," means that we try to approximate the spirit and the sportsmanship of NFL football. To this end we have strict rules on Community gameplay.

Here at the 40 Nick we live by two credos:


  • Honor before victory

    This is a Community that is first and foremost intended to be fun and entertaining. We do not run up scores on our opponents nor do we believe in winning at all costs. Sportsmanship is more important than victory--we do not glitch, disconnect or quit games against each other.

    If you do not believe in this creed this is not the club for you.


  • Death before Dishonor

    With that said, members of the 40 Nickel also believe that slapping our opponent in the mouth is what football is all about. ;) The Forty Nickel is all about gritty, bloody nuckle football like our daddies used to play.

In short, the 40 Nick is about playing Madden and having a good time doing it. We actively work to arrange games & to help us get to know each other. We have tournaments, league play, NFL talk, Netflix and movie discussion and a lot of smack talk.
