You guys do realize the jury were carefully selected so that they won't automatically assume she's guilty based on what they see on the news. It seems as if everyone else assumes shes guilty. |

She IS. They just don't have enough evidence to prove it. |

It can't be both. :p Either the evidence was overwhelming and entirely ignored (unlikely, especially in a case with so much media attention) or there wasn't enough evidence; the former is about corruption, the latter is...well, justification for the outcome really. From what she was charged with, there was enough to convict her of misleading the investigation - which is inherently suspicious since an innocent parent wanting to find their child does not try to deceive the people looking for said child - but that alone isn't enough to say conclusively that Casey killed Caylee. :-/ Even a brief glance at the arguments presented, the investigation, Casey lying about several key things - it paints a picture of great suspicion. If she didn't commit the murder, she certainly was in some way linked to it. Dubious as her character is, the law would be going down a rather dark path if credible material evidence (being accepted by the jury) wasn't required to convict someone of murder. It's tragic really. |

I like to assume that not everyone can be absolutely guilty of murder enough to kill them. Innocent people get killed under the death penalty. What do you know, maybe Casey was really innocent after all (its possible; just saying) |

Maybe she planned it, but didn't use her own hands. Maybe She used someone else. |

Everyone can think what they want, hopefully science will invent some technology to see if someone's guilty or not. |
| And just remember, when the morning wind blows away, just enjoy the day, for our time is good until it's gone. | |
