Has anyone tried a lie detector test on here?
On her? I think they tried about everything. I at least hope they did.

Lie detector tests aren't the most reliable. People find ways to beat them.
And just remember, when the morning wind blows away, just enjoy the day, for our time is good until it's gone.

But it is difficult to beat them. I remember the Mythbusters trying to beat it.

Moo

It does require a fair bit of commitment and research to beat a lie detector test - your ignorant average joe isn't likely to intentionally pass when lying - but it's very doable because the technology has some seriously exploitable flaws. Generally, courts don't use lie detectors as evidence. Body language experts on the hand are a good commodity. Not sure how seriously the courts take that though.

She reported to the police that her baby was missing a month after she was dead!

Honestly that should have been the "I'm guilty" call to the police.

What other reason could she have for not reporting her daughter missing?

None. But the police say that evidence cannot include common sense.
