That would create a lot of jobs.

True. But that could mean more disasters for Florida. We already have hurricanes and some tornadoes, earthquakes ain't welcome!
And just remember, when the morning wind blows away, just enjoy the day, for our time is good until it's gone.

They say it will split. It's on a fault.
It's kind of interesting you should say that, I remember seeing some science fiction film a few years back and if memory serves correctly, there was a major quake in the area and the whole city area had split off and was an island a mile or two off the coast.

I think the only reason I remember it is because the area is on a fault line, and although something like that is unlikely, it stuck in my head because of mother nature being one thing we can't control, so it had a sort of scarey unreal/real type feel to it.

I think that's what makes these things scarey, the fact that we can't control mother nature, even though this was unlikely to happen, it put the possibility into my head..

The News is making the Hurricane look like a nightmare. There asking people to evacuate. They were in New York and most everything there is closed.

Hurricanes usually don't go up that far north and stay that strong. I'd be worried.

If I was in New york and being told to evacuate I would. There's so many buildings that aren't hurricane proof.
