All members of the Asha'man path have official uniforms that are all black. Soldiers and Dedicated are required to wear these uniforms all the time, however most Asha'man choose to wear them only for special occasions. Asha'man wear both the Sword Pin and the Dragon Pin on their collars whether they are wearing their uniform or not. The Asha'man uniform includes black pants, a black shirt, and a black jacket that reaches halfway down the thigh. Each Asha'man's Shen colors are displayed by upper arm bands on his uniform. Each band consists of both Shen colors one atop the other. Different ranks among the Asha'man earn different numbers of bands. Asha'man with no official position merit one band on the left arm. Shen Sitters wear one band on each arm. Reis wear two bands on the left arm. The Master of Soldiers wears two bands on the right arm. The Mahdi al'Tain wears two bands on each arm in the colors of his Shen. The M'hael wears four bands of color on each arm, one in the color of each Shen. The M'hael's former Shen is represented as the top band.
