![]() The time period of the Final Battle was one of mass confusion for the population of the lands. Most of the population is cognizant of missing entire pieces of their own personal history due to world-changing events. Villages, towns and cities were completely burnt to bedrock with no explanation available for the dazed citizens who traveled there to find nothing but smoking rubble. Many believe that the Dark One is not bound to the Wheel again, or that Tarmon Gai’don has really happened. With no firm evidence people hold firm convictions both for and against the possibilities. The Wheel of Time is a 3D massively multiplayer roleplay on Second Life and is set in an alternate reality of a time after Tarmon Gai’don. As such, players may encounter things that may not be in accordance with the novels by Robert Jordan. Every attempt is made to be in concordance with the information contained in the books where possible. Main differences are only found in the political structures after, and history of, the Final Battle period itself, not within the overall canon of the novels or their plotlines.
