Laylah Sedai was a bright minded Sister, new to the Shawl and still without her ageless face. She walked the Halls always in the company of at least two Blue Sister's, unless she was with Amore, in which case it was just the two of them. Age may never be mentioned, but it sure did make a lot of difference in her life here at the Tower.

The woman was near her mid thirties, and yet to Amore she was a child still, so new and innocent. They walked, arm in arm down the halls, smiling to those Sisters and Brothers they passed. Amore was headed toward the Vlack Tower when she spotted a man walking toward her and her companion.

As if a gift from the Light, two of her Sisters appeared in the hall, neither strong in the power, but both of them average enough to keep from being bothered on their way back to the halls. Amore smiled at Laylah and excused herself, using her eyes to hook the young Sister up with the two passing. The two older Sister's caught on immediately, not knowing the reason but knowing what Amore wanted. Most Blue's were good at reading people.

Amore approached the man walking toward her with a slow glide, smiling her brightest smile.

"Pardon me, and good morning to you sir, but might I ask, is your name Sarecer Asha'man?" Amore's voice was warm, and well articulated.

This was one of the original Asha'man, well as close to it as she had been able to trace back. She did not know of another person within the Towers at present time who matched their age. What would it be like to share thoughts with someone of the old world, someone who had seen as much as she?

Sarecer had woken up that morning in a good mood, which was rare of late, and the day had passed by without incident so it hadn't diminished. He was headed to the White Towers library to research something that he had gotten in a report. The only blemish the day had so far was a report he received stating that Illian was on the push north. The so called Golden Alliance had turned out a lot stronger than anticipated, he would hate to have to use the power to quash them. The male half of the power was still tainted by rumor even after two hundred years of male channelers walking the earth with out going mad. But some people were waiting for it to happen he had to laugh at them, that made him stop for a second and wonder how sane someone his age really was, which made him laugh a little harder. A couple dedicated going to class stopped slack jawed and stared at him until they realized who he was and immediately bowed deeply and all but ran away.

He had just left the main doors of the Black Tower and had started towards the White Tower. The walk was nice the crisp winter air misting his breath in front of him. He enjoyed the cold it reminded him of home. He could hardly remember what it was like being young and innocent so care free, nothing in life had gone wrong. He was sure his soul was darkened by the things he has had to do for the light the hundreds that have fallen to him, though they were always darkfriend, White Cloaks or men who tried to kill him for one reason or another in war or without.

He entered the White Tower and started walking towards the library when he spotted two women, one so young that he thought shouldn't be out of white, and another older that he knew. She was as old as him, or so close that it didn't matter. He wasn't going to stop but the Aes Sedai had another idea shooing away the younger woman and walking towards him calling his name.

"I am he," He said stopping before her. He didn't bow for in his mind he was ranked higher than she, Aes Sedai kept their leaders secret. He had no need to hide behind secrecy if someone wanted him gone he wouldn't go with out a fight. Smiling he looked down at the woman and asked "A blue sister dies, and another returns after how long? No don't answer I know your ways. How may I help you Amore, is it?"

"As a matter of fact Asha'man, no, it is not Amore. I am Amore Sedai, and I would thank you to show as much respect for me as I do for you." Amore's voice was the take no nonsense voice of age, the one she had used on many a wayward child. She knew a little about the man before her, and by all right, she was on near equal footing with him.

The two had stopped in the hallway, facing one another. It seemed as if the Dedicated and soldiers that were in the Hall suddenly found better places to be. The young women were giving them wide space, but there eyes soaked in the visual of the older Sister in company of a man.

While the exact nature of the man's influence within the Black Tower had been out of her grasp, she knew that he held no little sway. One thought kept echoing in her mind though, what had this man done to be banished? The records were extensive, he had been banished, sent to live among the Ogier, and yet now here he was, back and a member of the Towers.

Amore looked the man before her over, a small smile beginning to play across her delicate features.

"You are the one I seek, but I did not think you would still be in such a nice shape." Amore's eyes flashed bright with humor as she gestured to the nice turn of his calf and wide shoulder set.

Sarecer wasn't that surprised by the answer he was given by her. Though he had to admit that she went a little far demanding the title be attached to her name when he said it. "Of course you are Amore Sedai, you can call me Rei, or you can call me Sarecer. I see no need for titles among me and you. It has been a while sense I have heard news of you, though I have been preoccupied and away from things." He smiled dangerously then but it lasted only a moment as he wiped it off his face. He didn't know what he'd do when that coward Zek decided to show up once again. But the small woman in front of him was in no way related to that.

His smile turned from dangerous to warm when she commented on his shape. He took pride in the way he looked and spent an hour in the morning before the sun rose and an hour in the evening before the sun went down training with his sword. He did not need to know how to swing a blade for he commanded a more dangerous tool than mere metal. "The Ogier kept me well enough." He laughed, "Now what was it you would like to speak with me about?"

(( OOC: No worries mine aren't all that extensive))

Amore wasn't shocked that the man knew of her, there were many Sisters whom Amore had never met, but sure as sunrise, they knew who she was. What was interesting was the man's comment about being very busy of late. What had he been doing? His smile was enough to let her know she didn't want exact details, but a rough outline would have been nice.

His reference to the Ogier was mildly shocking, so he had assumed Amore would already know. She counted that towards the man's intelligence, he knew she would gather as much information as she could before coming to see him. To her advantage though, he would have no idea how much she knew. To the reverse, Amore didn't know how little she knew of some of the specifics she had learned.

"To speak with you about? Well the matter is simple really, Rei." she smiled at him, genuinely, and added in a softer tone "You may call me Amore when we are not in the public eye." she looked forward, placing her right arm on his left, walking down the hall with him to the right of her, the position of power, it was nothing significant, and most younger generations wouldn't recognize the hospitality of the gesture, but Amore knew this man would.

"I must say, it has been a very long time since I have spoken to a man from my own lifetime, I couldn't count the years that have past if I tried. It is hard for me to explain to you what I feel at this moment, but I am truly grateful for any time you may have to spare with me to talk about anything, everything. I want to know where you've been and how you felt. I have seen so much, and yet, I have no one to remember it with. Forgive me, if I sound flighty, I am not."

As Amore spoke she came to realize how old she really was, how short it seemed now that everything was done. She realized the depth to which she missed her own time, a time when things had been in upheaval, the Tower split in two and a tower of obsidian constructed by male channelers dominating a broken and reunited continent.

It was as if she walked beside someone who could understand who she was, and why. She dually noted in the back of her mind, he would also know tricks to equal or top hers. Perhaps there was something to learn here as well. The man before her was beginning to look like an open book full of useful information.

"Do you know a Sister of mine, Karanina Sedai?" She still walked, facing forward, talking for only him to hear.

Sarecer was surprised by the courteousness of the woman, not many people followed the old ways. He knew that she had given him the superior position, though as a generous act or to set him off his guard he did not know. Aes Sedai no matter how old or young were always tricky to deal with. He supposed that it was becoming the same way with the Asha'man he liked to believe that he was more honorable than most. He listened politely while she spoke, what she wanted was to talk to someone who understood her.

"Flighty?" he said after she finished speaking. "No, I sometimes find myself thinking of the past and wondering where it all went. So much has changed the people are less honorable. The world is less exciting. Though that could be old age talking." he finished with a quiet laugh.

He had to think about who Karanina was, he had heard the name mentioned many times. They walked in silence for a time before he finally remembered that she was the Mistress of Novices. Wondering what the woman was asking him about her for he decided to ask instead of trying to puzzle it out for himself. "I know who she is, why do you ask?" He looked down at the woman to his left waiting for her answer.

Amore's smile was warm, but her answer was vague "Just wondering, that's all. So tell me Asha'man, where do you come from? What was occurring in your youth as far back as you can remember? I myself was born right after the Aiel crossed the wall, of course Amadicia fell to the Seanchan, and then to the Shadow before the Aiel infiltrated.

The Blight Nations were already allied, and Illian was falling, although most of this I know from books, not memory. My mother and father owned land north of Amador. We were wealthy, both of them Heads of House, and combined they held enough populace to be appointed to the Court, where I was raised to hold my Father's seat, along with training with the Children shortly after the Amyrlin Egwene Al'vere's brother took over their order. It was discovered by a party sent by the Lord Dragon, that I could channel.

In the night I was whisked away by one of the Sisters, and the rest has been history, that's the short of it. Now tell me about your life before the Tower. Were you born after the Cleansing or before? What was early Tower life like? What was it like having Aes Sedai bonded to your men for the first time?"

Amore's questions were quick in succession but such was her excitement.
