Descriptions and Responsibilities for Moderators Amyrlin Seat and M'hael These members are the leaders of their respective paths. Of all Ajahs(for Amyrlin) or Shen (for M'hael) and of none, they sit with the Halls, oversee the working of their Tower, keep audiences and keep up diplomatic relationships. Out of Character, they are one of four Admins here. They are in charge of their respective Tower, participate in Admin discussions and do Administrative duties, such as setting up new characters, approving biographies, moderating discussions and helping with problems. Mahdi al'Tain and Keeper of the Chronicles: In Character, these members are in charge of day to day business of their respective Towers, as well as working together to oversee the running of the city of Tar Valon. The Keeper of the Chronicles acts as a second in command and a secretary to the Amyrlin Seat, the Mahdi al'Tain performs the same tasks relative to the M'hael. They grant audiences with the Amyrlin/M'hael and introduce visitors. If the Amyrlin/M'hael is out of the Tower, the Keeper/Mahdi is in charge until he/she returns. Out of Character, these members have Global Moderator abilities. They will also act as "back up" admins, in the case that the Amyrlin or M'hael goes on LoA, the Keeper or Mahdi (respectively) take full control over the path and will be granted Admin abilities for the duration of the LoA. These members will have a voice in both Moderator and Administrator discussions. Mistress of Novices/Master of Soldiers: These positions entail overseeing everything that has to do with Junior Members in the channeling paths. The Mistress of Novices is in charge of keeping track of novices/Accepted while the Master of Soldiers has the same responsibility for soldiers/Dedicated. The members filling these positions are in charge of assigning rooms and mentors, overseeing that raising requirements are being filled, and conducting raisings. In the case that punishments/penances are required (either IC or OOC) the MoN/MoS are in charge of assigning and ensuring that they are carried out. These members will have a voice in Moderator discussions. The Mistress of Novices will have moderator abilitiess in the Mistress of Novices' Office, Female Dorms, Classrooms, Three Arches, and Final Test forums. The Master of Soldiers will have moderator abilities in the Master of Soldiers' Office, Male Dorms, Classrooms, Three Arches, and Final Test forums. Reis and Heads of Ajah: Both In and Out of Character, these members are in charge of keeping track of the members of their Ajah/Shen, promoting activity, and dealing with issues members may have. They are in charge of assigning tasks to Ajah/Shen members, and are expected to tutor new members of their Ajah/Shen. Petitions to join an Ajah/Shen are sent by Accepted/Dedicated to the Head/Rei and the Head/Rei is in charge of determining acceptance (according to the Ajah/Shen's chosen method of making the decision. This may entail putting the member to a vote before the other Ajah/Shen members or ensuring that other Ajah/Shen methods are followed). These members will have a voice in Moderator discussions. These members will be given Moderator abilities in their Ajah/Shen's forum. Brown HoA and Rei al'Dieb Cha also have Moderator abilities in the Library. Yellow HoA and Rei al'N'dore al'Mordero also have Moderator abilities in the Infirmary. Haran al'Tari Both In Character and Out of Character, the Haran al'Tari is in charge of the Garrison and its inhabitants. The Haran al'Tari is in charge of training the recruits and housing the recruits, Younglings and Gaidin and Gaidar. He or she in charge of assigning rooms and mentors to recruits, overseeing that raising requirements are being filled, and conducting raisings. In the case that punishments/penances are required (either IC or OOC) the Haran al'Tari is in charge of assigning and ensuring that they are carried out. He or she will have a voice in Moderator discussions. The Haran al'Tari will have moderator abilities in Haran al'Tari's office, Recruit Barracks, Practice Yard and Gaidin and Youngling Barracks. Do keep in mind that I do expect a lot from the Amyrlin, Keeper, Mahdi and MoN and MoS. They have to be active members and I will not hesitate to replace them if they do not keep up with their duties. So, if you cannot promise that you will be active at least three times a week for Amyrlin, two times a week for MoN/MoS and one time a week for Keeper/Mahdi, do not apply. However, these are the positions that need filling the most. This is not the application process yet. I promised a moderator position to all of those who announced themselves before the end of the month, so no handing out positions until all of those who have announced themselves and want a moderator position have spoken their mind here. So, tell me you want a moderator position, tell me what position you would prefer and one or two positions that you could consider taking up if you do not get the one you prefer. You can have more than one moderator position (i.e. Keeper and Rei, Head and MoS).
