'Ello people :)

This week was a little less productive than last week, but some good progress was still made.

I as able to incorporate a make-shift fix for FPS lag using display lists, allowing for 150-200 FPS on my crappy computer. I then went on to reorganize the code to further utilize display lists for everything, from static models to the terrain. I separated the player system from the model system, wrote a rebuild lists algorithm for when models change in their position/lighting, and fixed some lighting problems with display lists.

Also, if you look at the alpha page, you will see a 3 day gap between version histories. That was when I got my new computer :D

64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium with 640 MB hard drive with 7200 RPM, 3rd Gen i7 quad-core processor, turbo boost, cpu overdrive, and just freaking cool looking :D It took a couple days to reconfigure everything for 64 bit, but it was worth it. Instead of taking 2 minutes to compile the game code, it only takes around 3 seconds.

Anyhow, till next week :)

This week, however, was very productive for the 3d department!
I have many new ideas for some things Sacre has asked for, and im working on converting some trees so Lucas can do some more FPS testing on his new comp.
Models for the farming system were also made, and most basic plants are now rendered out. :)

As always,
Enki
