Happy Holidays everyone :)

This week has been very productive now that I am out of school. The focus has been mostly on the terrain generator. First, I improved my fix of the lighting issues that occurred between chunks. Second, I developed a smoothing algorithm that makes the terrain more realistic. Finally, I wrote an algorithm to recalculate the lighting after the smoothing is done. Oh, I also coded the new skills menu Nick drew up. Below are some pictures that show all my hard work :)

In the coming week, I hope to do the following:
-Apply new algorithm logic to the smoothing algorithm so that it is 60% faster
-Work on installing a player model with terrain collision
-Skill system/Menu animation
-Work on mathematically generated skysphere and sky colors.
-Work on sun/moon/day/night system
-If time is left, work on shaders for texturing the terrain
