Construction

Engineers can construct Buildings on planets for factions and players to use. Buildings all have a difficulty level and a cost to build. Rolls are made during construction to determine whether or not there are setbacks which require more money to complete or if the project is an outright failure. Modifiers to this roll include the Player's Intelligence statistic and the Player's Level; higher-Level Engineers will have an easier time successfully completing buildings with no problems. Below is a list of difficulties and times to build:

Difficulty 1: 1 day
Difficulty 2: 2 days
Difficulty 3: 4 days
Difficulty 4: 6 days
Difficulty 5: 10 days

Below is a list of buildings and their statistics:



COMBAT BUILDINGS (Note: these buildings appear on maps during Faction vs. Faction battles and can be damaged/destroyed during those battles)
Blaster Turret
Difficulty: 2
Cost: 300 C/
Abilities: Fires 1 shot each turn at closest enemy using DLT-19 statistics and 10 Accuracy (max 4 per planet)
HP: 100

Medical Station
Difficulty: 3
Cost: 400 C/
Abilities: Heals 5 HP per turn to any friendly player in contact (max 2 per planet)
HP: 75

Garrison
Difficulty: 5
Cost: 5000 C/
Abilities: Gives 3 extra NPC soldiers to your faction during FvF battles.
HP: 500


NON-COMBAT FACTION BUILDINGS (Note: these buildings are destroyed if the faction loses control of the planet)
Observation Post
Difficulty: 1
Cost: 150 C/
Abilities: Gives an extra 1 CP to faction holding planet (max 5 per planet)

Field Hospital
Difficulty: 3
Cost: 1000 C/
Abilities: Friendly players recover HP after battles at double speed. (max 1 per planet)

Outpost
Difficulty: 3
Cost: 1000 C/
Abilities: Gives an extra 5 CP to faction holding planet (max 2 per planet)

Base
Difficulty: 5
Cost: 10,000 C/
Abilities: Gives an extra 10 CP to faction holding planet (max 1 per planet)


GENERAL PLAYER BUILDINGS (Note: these are built for players of other classes; those players must be on the same planet as their building to benefit from the bonuses)
Medical Clinic
Difficulty: 3
Cost: 1000 C/
Abilities: Allows owner (Medic) to use their Intensive Care abilities 1 extra time per day (max 1 per player)

Assembly Line
Difficulty: 3
Cost: 750 C/
Abilities: Allows owner (Merchant) to craft items 25% faster (max 2 per player)

Warehouse
Difficulty: 2
Cost: 500 C/
Abilities: Allows owner (Merchant) to hold 30 more items in their Shop

Nightclub
Difficulty: 3
Cost: 1200 C/
Abilities: Allows owner (Civilian) to gain 50% more profit from successfully-performed routines (max 1 per player per planet)
