This is a review of the Xbox 360 arcade title Raskulls.![]() Gameplay:You play as a Raskull, your objective is to win challenges along several tracks by breaking blocks with your "wand" and completing the challenge. There are a total of 10 different kinds of challenges. Some of these challenges include carving blocks into the exact shape the challenge giver wants them, racing around a track 3 times before time runs out, traversing through a level with only a certain amount of zaps, and many more. Although it sounds very simple the Mega quest (Single player story) gives you a lot of entertainment. 8.5/10 Graphics:This game has a unique graphic style. It is a 2D platformer, but has 3D sprites (Similar to New super mario bros. Wii). I also like the character design, (I have the Raskull mask on my avatar right now) although it looks odd I still love it. 7.5/10 Music:Most of the songs are not that great, but a few of them I start whistling away at whilst writing a math test. With the new release of the Raskulls DLC there has also been a release of a digital soundtrack which can be found Here. you pay as much as you please, and it comes with 40 songs. 6.9/10 Plot: You are a part of a species known as the Raskulls. You must obtain all of the shiny stones before the Pirat's do. If we don't get the shiny stones, then the world could be in danger. (You will obtain one after each chapter). You will play as three different characters across 3 chapters: Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Throughout the plot you will also unlock quite a few characters for use in multiplayer races. You can find a list of them here.7.5/10Lifetime:If you like platformers as much as I do, you will be able to 100% (There are 67 challenges) this game in less than 24 hours. If Halfbrick only had the Mega Quest mode, this game would get boring very fast. But they did add Multiplayer which gives the game a lot more time to have fun with. 7/10 Multiplayer:By far one of the best parts about this game is the multiplayer. You will be matched up with 1-3 other people and you will race to the end of the track. Halfbrick has also incorporated a leveling system, you will get 100 xp for winning, 75 for getting second, 50 for getting third, and nothing for getting last. The only downside to multiplayer in my opinion, is that they didn't use their ideas in the mega quest into multiplayer. It would be pretty fun to see who could defuse the most bombs in 1 minute.7.5/10 Overall:I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a cool little platformer. I have already encouraged 2 people to buy it, and they both really enjoyed it. 7.5/10 Edited by UnrealOdin, Jan 28 2011, 09:30 AM.

You didn't explain the gameplay at all, which is a little disheartening considering it's very fun. You can't just state the genre and move on. It's like me saying "Final Fantasy 7 is an RPG with a few gimmicks". Also, the whole game is comedic, how can a character bring comedic relief?

If it's fair, then it's just. If it's just, then it does give justice. Your argument is invalid. Yeah, I agree with Ara, it's not quite detailed enough. |

Yes, he's already said that he's going to re-do it. Now can we all stop blatantly advancing our post counts here? (Link, if you reply to this I will kill you.) |

I wish no one ever drew attention to post counts. They are completely pointless. Nobody here gives a rats ass about their post count, and posting for the whole purpose of raising it is absolutley retarded. If anybody did this it was you and dragon in that one welcome thread. I wish GG could remove post counts, to be honest. |

Well, based on the completely pointless posts that make up the majority of this thread, post count is the only thing that I can think of that would be on anyone's mind posting here at this point. |

Pointless posts? I said include what you do in the game, it's completely fair to assume he wasn't going to since he didn't the first time. It's a suggestion to make the repost better. Link was replying to you while telling Odin to remake it, maybe he didn't see Odins post. Either way this is a small fan forum and the fact that someone is actually upset because a discussion has gone on a little long and looks like people are post count whoring is a little ridiculous, who cares? |

We my aswell get it across now. Post count doesn't get you ahead in life, so nobody should be concerned about it. Arguments are discussions, aren't they? |

I agree with you, Ara. Post counts don't do anything for you. Then why are you still posting? Also, he had no reason to not see Odin's post. It's been there long enough. |

Photobucket is garbage and wants me to pay money to use my own images here all of the sudden (even though it was never an issue for years).
See if I ever use Photobucket for anything ever again.
