http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHaCSMJfGUA This video is now over 10 years old its mad listening to the people there who are massive today indecisive over weather or not people would like this "new sound" Dubstep has changed a lot over the past 10 years Heaver grittier and louder than ever It's absolutely huge without a doubt but what most people dont know is where it came from, there used to a different kind of sound and are oblivious the routes of Dubstep. Dubstep comes from grime, uk garage, dub & reggae and its expanded more than any producer ever even imagined. Skream, Benga, Mala, Loefah , Ntype Youngsta & Hatcha are just some of the producers who pioneered the sound. and its a sound wich is constantly evolving, I appreciate the older more minimal dubstep myself for example , i prefer listening to skream songs from 6 years ago for me its all about the beats and bass but for most its about the "diiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrty drop" and dont even get me started on the fucked up youtube comments , but errrm yeah if you feel any different ........ |
