http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-12596596 Haven't kids always been like this? I had to laugh when she says "stealing just didn't happen". And when she mentioned children in Ethiopia having to look after cattle, that might be because we're a developed nation that doesn't have to rely on child labour? Classic case of 'back in the day' syndrome. |

it's to easy to base arguments like this on rose tinted nostalgic memories based on, what i predict to be a rather middle class up bringing. It's just the ramblings of a grump old woman who has clearly subscribed to the view that all young people are hoodie wearing, knife wielding, impregnated, swearing 'yobs'. In reality that's only half true...

I've had a bit of a google and she went to St Mary's Convent School, might be a reason why her childhood was so innocent. |
