In games like the one on this site, some event or another always pops up which causes great commotion. Maybe America decided to cancel all exports on wheat, or Japan chose to place an embargo upon China. When an event like the aforementioned occurs, threads are almost immediately born where the nations of the world engage in serious debates about that event's feasibility. The Realism forum is the place to have those debates.

Here at the GPRP, we encourage our members to participate in such debates. Realism is an extraordinarily important check on the otherwise unchecked power of the human imagination. Just imagine what the board would degrade to if China decided to stop producing goods for the world because China's controller wanted to 'stick it to the man' or some other similarly illogical reason.

However, do not fool yourself into thinking you can start 'flaming' your peers just because the Administration team encourages debate. Flaming and debate are two entirely different things. The former is destructive and pointless while the latter is useful and informative. Make sure to remember the setting of your posts before you click 'submit.' It is better not to post at all than to provoke a forum fire.
