Sigga Frostblood; "Valkyrie"
Topic Started: Sep 18 2011, 04:52 AM (159 Views)
Snitch

Name: Sigga Frostblood
Genetics: Mortal
Age: 21
Blood Type: B-
Appearance: She has very pale blonde hair that falls down past her backside and is usually tied in a braid and even paler skin. Her lips are a light shade of blue, likely due to the fact that her element is winter. Most often clad in white furs, with thin chainmail and leather armor underneath. Her hair is often covered by a silver chainmail coif. Her eyes are a very pale blue, almost grey. Sigga is quite tall, almost six foot, towering over most other women. She’s built like a warrior, with powerful forearms and abdominals.
Prime Deity: Thor
Occupation: Warrior(ess?)
Personality: Naturally cold in nature, Sigga is not necessarily cruel like some might perceive her to be, but prefers to be on her own. On occasion she will engage in the drinking and revelry of her people, but for the most part she keeps to herself. This is not to say that she cannot function in a group if need be, but it is rare that she will initiate conversation or even come near any of the other Asgardians.
Special Traits: Sigga has been trained in the art of combat since she could stand on her own two feet. Oddly, she prefers to follow the tradition route when it comes to her weaponry, wielding a large sword etched with runes and a shield for the most part. Of course, even these simple weapons have had to adjust to the modern age – the sword is fitted with a chainblade like the one most often seen on chainaxes, the usual weapons of her people. Her shield is made of vulcanium and decorated with images of white wolves, their alabaster fur frozen in clumps of ice.
Lineage: N/A
Legacy Traits: N/A
History: Sigga’s mother died when her daughter was only about two years old, leaving the girl to be raised by her father, Sigmund. From the moment she was strong enough to stand on her own, Sigga was taught the art of combat from her father. The sea has been the only home that she has ever known, and like many of her people, she developed a love for the unpredictable waves and freezing water at a young age.
Sigmund was (and likely still is) the only friend Sigga ever had. She never got along with other children, and had a particularly difficult time with many of the other women. As he trained and raised his daughter, Sigmund never ceased in telling her marvelous tales of the underwater city that was taken from his people by the Romans. Perhaps this was why Sigmund fought the Romans so fiercly. No matter the reason, his love for battle was what eventually got him killed, when Sigga was only about fifteen.
Still relatively young, Sigga has thrown herself into the life of a warrior with a vigor matched only by that of her late father. Though she believes that he died an honorable warrior’s death, she harbors a seething hatred for the Romans for everything that they have taken from her and her people.
