I have heard news about Toho allowing the big lizard to stomp his way into theaters again, but this time, in 3-D. Godzilla 3-D to the max is said to be realeased in Imax theaters. If you have any info on this upcoming film, please post it here. I have heard that www.monsterzero.us has info on it.
It would help ALOT if you could spread the word about this site :)

People say it's "Dead in the water* due to no updates.

Seemingly going unnoticed last month, the company Kerner has announced that Godzilla 3-D is still on, and currently being developed by the firm. The company, which is comprised largely of former ILM (Industrial Lights and Magic) employees in the higher ranks, revelead the agreement, which sees backing from the Tokyo based Digital Motion.

Yoshimitsu Banno, Godzilla vs. Hedorah (1971) and writer on Prophecies of Nostradamus (1974), is still attached to the project as the director and also a producer. Kenji Okuhira is also billed as a producer. On the American side of things, producer Brian Rogers, director Keith Melton and director of cinematography Peter Anderson have all been cited as involved with the production.

Some other details announced include that the production will be done in English, while the "start date" given is Feburary 2008. Filimg locations include South America, Mexico, Tokyo, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

It seems this movie won't be out until 2009.
