Hi Members

For those GPZ7000 owners there is a new software update available dated 17th. June 2017.
It can be found here:

Has any member found the updates to be an improvement when detecting with the 7000?
If so under what conditions & settings were used?
Cheers,

Ted

Yes been using it with the updated software since it was available and I like it, seems to be an improvement, the semi auto GB and the Locate Patch in the new ground smoothing section. This is where the ground is just a bit mony grony before, but if the ground is nice and quiet then just use it as it was before the software update.

Basically the new software just lets you detect some more ground that was in the (bit difficult) category before.

Anyhow it works well for me and I'm glad Minelab has done this update.

cheers dave

Thanks Dave,

Will give it a go in some areas north of Perth which has some salty ground which is a bit noisy.
Cheers,

Ted
