Hi,
better know as detector_nt.
I started up a new website 1week before i new about this site, only my site is just a information site for all lovers of Fossicking & prospecting of Australia.
I am new to gold detecting.Having only 2 years experience looking for gold & have never found a nugget!! I know what ya's are saying "WTF" ..lol
Rencently i & the family moved from SW Qld to the topend of NT.
Have met some great ppl up here & hope to get on the pine Crk gold fields in 2weeks.
But it does not look like it..we have had rain!!
I am willing to learn all about prospecting for Gold & share any info i may come across.
Today i found out not all online government maps are correct & its proveing harder
to find some ground to swing on.
My interest in detecting started many years ago seeking Cobb&co treasures from the old depot sites with alot of sucess, finding coins, gold rings & relics with my trusty bounty hunter.
Had ago at open cut mines looking for boulder opal, but that does not pay unless you hit the jackpot first time around.
aahhh..thats enough.
cheers
Dave......PS also trying to make my own PI detector.
