Well a good start would be to get a good detector and go to known nugget producing areas.Low & slow will see you get some colour.

hi malk where in w.a. are you, a detecting club is a good start. they are people that are in the game they can give advice on what you can and cant do, little tips from other people is a lot easyer than trying to work things out by youre self, going out in the middle of the bush turning the detector on and hopeing to find something may work but very rare, usually a lot of time and effort is put in to find a nuggy
