Hi all members, Jon and Alan (Duro )

A bit about myself, I have been prospecting on and of since late 70s I was in a Diving buisness with Alans brother for 15 years. Colin. (Alans Bro ) told me the other day that Alan is realy keen, Have also been going around to see Jon for a few months now to bludge a cup of coffi , so now he has stimulated the Pros bug again. ( havent been for 2 years) I am into Hi Def Vid now mainly Wildlife. May do a few trips this year as been good rain this year so good for Vid.

I usualy go up solo been doing it for years. mainly because bad experiances with people wanting to find the jackpot first time out.

To me now it is the Bush that I love. Gold is just a bonus if found.

I am dislexic so dont give me a hard time on my spelling :) I know it is bad so I dont nead a smart arse to tell me. Correcting just takes too long :(

This looks like a good freindly forum, so I will give it a go.

Cheers johncc

Hi Johncc,

Welcome to the group, hope you have as much fun as I've had.

Sorry to hear you've had problems going out detecting with friends that expect to find Lassiters Reef, the first day out. Do they bitch about only getting a few oz's from every trip? I can't understand these people.

Don't worry about your Dislexia mate, Even the Virgin man, Richard Branson couldn't do nearly as well as you, man. In fact if your dislexic, we're all Dislexic !

See u around
Cheers
Dave

Welcome John,
You can't be too bad if you mix with Alan & Jon, sure hope to see you rock up at Mt Celia.
As Dave has pointed out, don't stress over a few misplaced letters, it is pretty sad that many don't post because they fear ridicule.

Hi all and thanks for the kind words

Looks Like I might ba a candedat for the Mt Celia trip. I put it to the officer in charge this morning ( THE MRS's ) It looks as if I have a goer there. As said I dont do to much detecting these days as the bones are not up to it and the inthusium is a bit dull . I find it easy to sit about all day talking Bull S*** and go for a short strole now and then. Mainly to do Photography. But if a bit of yellow shows up it can stimulate the old carcase a bit :)

Alan Yes I think it would do Ben good to get out, and Im prity shore he would enjoy himself. I dont think Dave would be too interested though. If ( Probably will ) go to Celia I will bring up a heep of coils you can try some out, I have no idea how they will work on the 4500 but sometines you can stumble on a coil that realy matches an individual detector. they are like shoes one pair dont fit all. ;)

I still use 2200 you wouldent beleave my best coils ;)

Jon keep the billy hot I will be around sometime to scab a cuppa from you and talk more BS :D :D

Cheers johncc

PS If I do make it to Celia dose anyone mind me taking vidio of them pulling up the (BIG ONE) :ph43r:  I dont want to piss anyone off.

Hi Alan

Do you know I think it about 12 years  since I last seen you. ( Bloody hell must be getting old ) I think it was when Colin and I camped up in your folks van in your shed with a couple of Hiland Catle.

It good that you have taken up Prospecting. ( Good excuse to go bush ) :) :)

Look forward catching up. Hope Ben can come. Bit under the thumb.

Cheers John
