Names Phill new to gold detecting had a few trips away no success yet. Live in Armadale suburb of Perth, retired and nothing but time on my hands. Have all the gear just need someone to go with, wild dogs are becoming a problem prospecting on ones own. |

Hi Phill You've come to the right place here and I'm sure that you'll get some company to go on your hunts for gold. Plenty of friendly folks and they do have get to gethers from time to time. What model detector do you use? Chris & I are heading to WA early May and we both have 4000's at the moment. Like you say it is scarey with the wild dog problem. We drive an old 1987 HJ60 Landcruiser pulling a Millard pop top van and welcome anyone in for a cuppa and even a camp if they wish. Cheers Lyn |

Cheers Lyn. I have the new minelab reissue of the 2200 sd the 2200 vs. I went away with my son for a week up Meekathara and Wiluna we didn't use it that much mainly seeing the sights,so how good it works is anyones guess.(found a penny with it) I have a nissan GU 4x4 diesal (bullet proof) I have been around Oz in it towing a camper with the missusat least three times havn't put a spanner on it apart from regular service.(It will probably lunch itself having said that) But as I said I have nothing but time on my hands and love the bush and I am certainly not looking for Lasetters reef that's for sure. If I come back with nothing I could care less.I aint no spring chicken so it's spiritual for me. All the best Phill. |
