Hi everyone I have just spent 3 days dedusting my caravan, have resealed all the wheel arches, pipe entry points, floor, and anywhere I could see daylight shinning through. I have also fitted a pop up vent on the roof of the van, hoping it will pressureize the van to stop the dust being sucked in. Kept getting dust in my undies draw, carnt have that.LOL So tomorrow I be loading it again ready for my next trip, after I've dusted everything down, what a bugger of a job. Havent even started on the ute yet. Keeping me busy i suppose. |

Evening Jon, The pressure snorkles do work. Our first trip we also found the wheel arches were responsible for dust entry. The other dust entry point is through the vent connected to the range hood above the stove. ie: If the vent is on the back end of the van where most of the dust swirls. Am working on an idea how to simply close this off when on the dirt roads.Do not have a problem with dust entering canopy on my ute when the flaps are all down. Cheers Peter |
