Hi Ben,

Good to see you join the forum. I suppose Alan gave you a bit of stick if you didn't.
Finally got the gold fever after stealing all of Jon's patch at Redcastle eh!!!!!!!!! ;) ;)
With you & me setting up a repair business on Jon's equipment we should make a
killing incase we don't strike any of the yella stuff. [LOL] :P :P :P
How about posting a couple of pics of your finds in the Photo Gallery.

Cheers

Ted

Hi Ben,

Welcome to the forum. Seen you had a good time at the Trip. Sorry to hear you only found 6 nuggys
totaling 9 grams, I know it's hard to take but time heals most wounds. You'll get over it!
When you become more experienced like myself you'll start finding the real stuff - bullets and nails!
Stick at it bros, you'll get there!

Cheers Dave

Hi Ben

I'm Impressed that you found 9 grams at Redcastle on your fist trip, oustanding.

Who could ever forget the veritable Marianas Trench you dug at Mt Celia for a ballbearing -

Hi Ben

Sorry missed you up bush Ben. But you know about the road train. I may be heading up in July but it will be the back of beyond. I am still in Pommy land having a good time in the rain. I will catch up with Alan if I do go. Remember it not the gold that matters (even though it is nice to find a bit) its the jerny to find it that is what its about.

Cheers John :)

Welcome to the forum Ben,
It was great to see you joining in and hopefully carry on the detecting tradition through the ages.
Hopefully we older generation can pass on our knowledge and encourage the likes of you.
We were a little disappointed we had to leave Mt Celia and not carry onto Redcastle with the gang.
Hopefully catch up with you again on the next meet.
WHERE are we heading too next?

Cheers
Peter & Carol
Good luck & safe travels
Peter
