Hi All

In the last few weeks I have been travelling in the bush and camping and occasionally you need a pitstop to was clothes, bodies and generally get fresh again.

I have stopped at the Leinster Caravan Park and found it to be very clean and very cheap.

It costs $10 per night for a powered site with hardstand and treated water, the park has shady spots and brand new facilities for showers and toilets. The laundry is free (Yes, ladies -and gents sorry Jon- , FREE washing machines and dryers).

The town is a BHP mining town with a very well stocked shopping centre and supermarket with reasonable prices. The nearest you will get to choice of food products in the goldfields at a supermarket as Leinster is Kalgoorlie. Even the fuel prices were reasonable at the servo.

At night you can go to the wet or dry mess. The dry mess has meals at $15 per head and I would defy you to find a better smorgasbord meal in a Capital City at much higher prices.

Its a quiet little town not far from the gold mining centres of Sandstone and Leonora and I tell you what, you will be struggling to find a better caravan park at the price in WA country - definitely stop there on your way through for a night.
