Hi Kris and other interested members,
Received an SMS from Kath, all is well they are leaving Nullagine heading for Meekatharra tomorrow then onto Cue at a later date.
They have managed to uncover over 7ozs however have been severely hindered by the thick spinnifex covering the area.
They are having an exceptional year.

Cheers
Peter
Good luck & safe travels

Haha Peter!! Well here is one little story,

For those who remember I had a nasty accident at Cue last November.....calf of leg impaled.....well hubby & I stopped off for a couple of days at Cue so i could see if anyone else had found the little patch & also I would chain the area.

On arriving we immediatley saw it had been chained already. The errie thing about this is that the chaining started from where our car was parked & finished at the tree i had the accident!! Almost like someone had seen what happened & worked the area.Anyway within 5 mins i was happily digging over a chain line...NOT a clear signal, faint, to start with....finally after a nice dig I pulled out a nice 5.9grammer.........within the hour I had another 4 nugs & about 2 hours later I dug one more.

Next day a chap we had met came out with us to the area & he chained same area but was unable to get any nugs.

cheers,
Kath
Be kind to others & smile.
