Hi all,

I'm from WA. looking for the yella stuff also, Been doing it for about 6 yrs now as work permits, fortunately my work takes me all over the state into some very remote areas as a comms rigger, so i might as well pursue my hobbbie while i'm out there B)

Looking forward to perusing and donating to the forum when i can.

SD 2200d, unmoded, 16" DD XP, Reeds LuckyLark, 23 nuggets so far .3g - 8g from far and wide.

HorseNugget - 3.2g South of Kal. hope avatar thingy works

Looking forward to busting the ounce mark one day ;)

I found it late last year I'm thinking of turning it into a pendant or something, hav'nt made up my mind yet, it just sits in the jar with his mates :D It was a spin out to dig it up from about 8 inches and seeing straight away that it was a horse, doesnt need much imagination. looks like mid gallop or ballancing on a ball lol :P

I also collect alot of other rocks from my travels eg, chrysophrase, amethyst, agate, zebra stone and my favorites...Astronomite.. :X polishes up nice, looks like little planets.

I have not got any lapidary gear yet, just stock piling untill retirement. Then i'll have something to do...

will post some other pics once i get more organised.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU REALLY LIKE COLLECTING THE ROCKS, GOSH THERE ARE SOME BEAUTIFUL ONES FOR SURE.
IT WILL BE THE ICING ON THE CAKE WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO GET THE GEAR & THAT WILL BE ANOTHER GREAT
HOBBY FOR RETIREMENT!!! :D
