Hello to everyone

I've just been spending some time reading here. Folks have done really well with the gold - good on you.

Unfortunately we didn't make it to the Detecting Championships - it looked a beaut day and we would have loved to have met some of the folks. Our friend Chook was there so I hope she said hello to some of you for us.

The lady who looks after our home whilst we are away left on Wednesday for Darwin so we thought we had better get back.

After a bad start coming across we had a fairly good year for Chris and I. I'm hoping the pictures turn out okay.

I see you are having another get together this month. Best of luck to everyone and safe travels. I hope the weather is kind also.

Our little mate "Roxy" is starting to settle in at home. After 4 or 5 days of travelling I think she was beginning to wonder what was happening and I'm sure she was waiting the first morning we were home, for us to pack her into the car with her harness once more ready for another long journey. If we are lucky enough to be back over next year I suppose we will have to get another new muzzle for her as she is outgrowing them rapidly! Glad she is growing up with the muzzle though - heard our friend lost their dog this year to a bait. Apparently whilst in a caravan park. Really sad.

Best of luck folks throughout the rest of the year.
Cheers
Lyn

Hi Lyn,

Well done. That is a fine collection.
Should be enough to cover the trip expenses.
We will try to emulate the find on our forthcoming trip.

Cheers

Ted

Hi Lyn & Chris,

Welcome home, we are very glad you did sooo well, lovely pics of all
those nuggets! :D :D What was your weight tally?

Nice pic of young 'roxy' & yes you are for sure educating her to the muzzle at
such a young age..much easier for them to adapt!! We also heard of others
who lost their pet to baits. Bit of a concern getting a bait in a caravan Park!
It always takes our dogs a while to realize they are not heading off again!

Cheers,
Kath
Be kind to others & smile.
