Hi David,

Before we headed in from last detecting trip I was also wondering about outback house prices. ;)
At Cue I was shown an old house which a while back had been on the market for around $80,000 BUT
was now priced for $200,000!

A few months back a place sold for $50,000!!
Was also told of a business that had been priced for sale at $100,000 but was now $200,000!!!

Had met a chap out detecting who had purchased a pretty good, once mining house about 4 yrs ago,
he told me he & his wife had paid $45,000!!!Haveing been for mines chap said it had EVERYTHING [eg
air-cons] possible in it, they just a few extra bits to a garden & that was all! :D :D

Cheers,
Kath

Kath

At those price's I can double my gold from a 100k to 200k looks like the gold is still in the house market over there and not the ground. :D

It would be good to have home here for Summer and winter home over there for all year prospecting better start looking on the net for a second home over there ready for the retirement days that give me a few more years to clean up the gold here first. :o

Hi Detrack,

Jons holiday house is a real winner. I bet If you demolished it you'd find gold under it. Virgin ground! ;)
