Hi all,

Great site you have here lot's of great story's and information.
Just getting back into detecting after many years out of the game, jumped straight into the deep end a got myself a GPX4500 only had it for 3 weeks and I would have found enough lead slugs to support my other hobby of fishing for the next season :D .

Not looking for the mother load but I wouldn't be complaining about an early retirement, just a great hobby to get out and have a good look around this great country of ours.

Hi Hendo4x4,

A very big welcome to this forum & it is great to see you have already
replied to a post!!! :D :D

You will soon be so glad you have the GPX 4500, a fantastic machine &
if there is gold where you are detecting you will get it!! ;)

I never had the 1800 but my first detector was the 1700. ^o) :(

Cheers,

Kath

Welcome Hendo 4X4 from a fellow Carnarvonite.

You could do a lot worse than Carnarvon as a base for detecting, fishing, and 4WD.
If it's too hot for detecting, you can always throw in a line, or find a new 4WD track....

It all makes work more bearable as you dream of early retirement (as I do often!)
