Have been reading an article about this geoglyph discovered in 1998, can only be vewed from the air. 4 kilometres in length, depicting an aboriginal wielding a club and posing with an erect penis. There are many theories on how it got there but the most popular option seems to be by deceased eccentric outback dweller/scupltor Bardius Goldberg. The image etched into the earths surface, probably with a bulldozer. Whether it is coincidental or purposely faded out on Google Earth to protect the tourist industry in Marree the geoglyph can be seen very faintly using these co-ordinates or by typing Marree Man into the search box. MARREE MAN 29° 32' 2.39" 137° 27' 59.15" Cheers Peter Edited by Nightjar, Thursday 19-11-2009, 15:55.
