Hello everyone, I found a link to this site and have joined up.
My name is Gary, nickname is Bergs, 58 years old. I live in Geelong Vic. (possibly too far out of the Triangle) and have a 4000 and have been detecting since Dec. 2006. I have had a lot of fun chasing the yella stuff with largest piece to date 7 grams. I once found a patch of about 90 pieces and no junk for a total of 8.7grams. Lot of fun larger pieces no more than .2g.
Other than detecting I like most sports especially Aussie Rules (Go Cats) and other hobbies if time permits, camping, photography, caravanning holidays and fishing. I'm married with two grown up daughters and three grandchildren (4yo, 2yo and 8months)this takes up a lot of time these days. Later this year I'm hoping to get over to the West to have a look around. Until then,

Cheers Bergs
