I was just in the waypoint section and tried to save all the waypoints for Laverton to put on Oziexplorer as I am off to WA mid April. The instructions say to save them as text files, but when I save them and then go "PASTE" the paste option is not available. Could somebody please help me with this. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks a lot, Jigalong |

Hi Jigalong Make sure you save the waypoints into your 'documents' or such as txt file and then open up Ozi and click on 'load waypoints'. When you get the little window above to say where you are looking for the waypoints just make it look in your documents and that should do it. I have sent you my phone number if you have more troubles and want to give me a call. Cheers Lyn |

Hi all I know I'm only a new member I just had a look at the the away points page and by scrollling down the page there seems a lot of ground there is peged and the chances of getting permission could be hard. A few of the points are pegged by proffesion prostectors and these guys make their liveing swinging the coil. I would surgest any members check all cordinates and ensure they know the lease owner and gain permission if the ground is pegged. Remember if you go so where you shouldn't you might'nt get bailed up but the next guy who is on some pending ground doing the right thing near live ground might get the grief. PS if your into night detecting the lease holder might be into rabbit shooting. captain 101 and no I don't hold any leases. |

Hi Jigalong I've just done the exercise myself and this is what I did. Click on the waypoints that you wish to obtain. Left click and hold the button down and scroll down to the bottom of the page (highlighting all the page to the bottom). Then go up to 'file' and click on 'save as'. That will bring a window up where you are going to save the waypoints. In the heading should be e.g Jigalong > documents. Underneath it will give you the file name e.g. 'Leonora Waypoints'. Under that click on the little downward arrow in the window that says 'Save as type' Scroll down to the 'Text File' and click that. Then open Ozi. Click on 'Load'. Scroll down to 'Import Txt file' and the window will probaly say 'Look in' ....Data. Just click on computer and find your documents then click onto the waypoints that you saved. Click 'open' once you have them in that box. It will probably say append and click okay on that and voilla the waypoints should be on your map. Hope this gets you there.
