A few pictures of a new site my friend went to Friday here in the Dominican Republic. Rumor has it that a 16 pound nugget was found near this spot. The locals say they find decent nuggets here regularly. I do Gold panning adventures in this country, I am going next week to check it out, It may be on my site list soon. See my page at www.Jarabacoagold.webs.com for more pictures.

We usually find 4-5 a day. Some days a little more, some days a little less. I haven't found any large nuggets yet, mostly flakes and flour. There is a new site on the other side of the Island I am going to hopefully next week that reports large nuggets. Here is a picture of a nice rainbow taken off my terrace.
