Nice Site
Kath and I have been detecting for 10 years. The last 5 years Full time.We live on a property just outside Maryborough Vic.We run a Gp3000 and a Gpx4000 and used to swap them.Kath got scared by a gwarder (Tiny baby brown snake) at the specking patch and threw her pick and detector at it.I wouldnt have minded but she was using my machine at the time,so we dont swap anymore. We both have about the same gold count the only difference is I do 10 times the amount of walking and she detects within 100 mtrs of our camp finishes early and has a few glasses of wine.

We are preparing for our fourth season in the West and are looking forward to it.If you ever come across a campsite with two people badly playing Ukuleles you will know its us.

Hi Noel,

Well your wife & I have the same names & we both don't like the snakes!!!! We actually have had two gwarders on our front verandah..
thankgoodnes people built next door!! They can go down the smallest crack so if we don't get them FAST they are gone & we are left
wondering where the heck they are!! Wish I also had Kath's gift of getting the nugs soooo close to camp!!!! Then i would join her for
a wine! ;) :$ :D

Will listen for the music & if we hear you we will pop in to say hi.....Dick & I are packing now hoping to leave later this week. whoopeeee!!

Good luck,safe travels,

Cheers,

Kath

Hi Noel

Good to see another comer to the forum. I would be like your lovely lady if there were a spider looking at me so can understand her actions :D

Chris & I are gearing up for our next trip to WA also (from SA)- will be another 2 or 3 weeks yet tho'. Always look forward to getting away.

Safe travels (you've got further to go than us) and hope you get plenty of bonuses.

Love the music from the ukeleles.

Cheers
Lyn
