Goodday. I have been watching this site for a while now and thought I had better introduce myself.
I live in Golden Bay and been detecting for A couple of years now. Just returned from Meeka and Paynesville for only a couple of grams.Still learning and looking for fellow prospectors.
At the moment I have a personel carrier coupled to a camper trailer and useing a minelab 3000.
Thats all for now.

Welcome Cruiser1,
Great to see you have broken the "top soil" and introduced yourself.
I think Dhufish lives down your way and is either back now or due home soon.
Hope to see more of your posts soon.
Cheers
Peter
Good luck & safe travels

Hi Phil,
We all walked into prospecting with little knowledge. Had to ask an experienced couple how I would know when I found gold?
Didn't have a clue, didn't realise that gold is gold and there is no mistaking what it looks like.
If you have a question, please ask, many think they will be ridiculed if they ask a dumb question.
Not here, you will get an answer.

cheers
Peter
Good luck & safe travels
Peter
