The Great Hall is where food is served three times a day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is also used to host special events.

An old, abandoned classroom that is often left unchecked by teachers. It's a good place to hide, or, perhaps, brew some Polyjuice Potion.

Muggle Studies, taught by ___, is a class in which students observe the unusual behavior of Muggles. They ask such questions as, "What is the function of a rubber duck?" Does it tickle your fancy?

Defense Against the Dark Arts is a class that has always been around at Hogwarts. It is compulsory for all students to undergo 7 years of Defense Against the Dark Arts. The class is taught by ___.

History of Magic is thought by most students to be the most boring of all classes taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It is taught by none other than our own ___, who quite enjoys rambling on for hours about magical events in Wizarding history.

This is where the Transfiguration professor, ___, likes to spend his/her time when not teaching classes. It is filled with all sorts of objects just begging to be turned into somethin else!

Filled with beds and with a nice view of the grounds outside, the Hospital Wing is where injured students are taken so Nurse ___ can tend to their wounds.

At the end of the corridor on the second floor sits a stone gargoyle. It guards, of all things to guard, the Headmaster's office. The password to get past the gargoyle changes every few days, so be aware that what gets you in one day may not get you in the next!

The office where the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, ___, stays when not instructing pupils.

Although it looks completely normal from the outside, nobody in their right mind would dare enter the girls' bathroom on the second floor, for fear of Moaning Myrtle.

In a deserted corridor on the third floor is a statue of a humpbacked witch. Rumor has it if you say the right incantation, her hump moves and you'll find a secret passage to Hogsmeade!

Hogwarts has a trophy room where all the old awards, trophies, statues, cups, plates, shields, and medals are kept in crystal display cases. There is also a list of all the head boys and girls.

Adjacent to the trophy room, the armor gallery is where hundreds upon hundreds of suits of armor are resting, waiting for their day to protect Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Charms, often thought to be the most useful of classes at Hogwarts, is held here. It is taught by ___.

The Hogwarts library has a nearly endless collection of books, ranging from Muggle classics to the greatest documentations of the recent Wizarding age!

An extravagant bathroom reserved for the use of only the school's finest: Prefects. A password is required to gain access.

Ancient Runes is a class that nobody really bothers to take at Hogwarts, so why even bother describing it?

Arithmancy is the magic of numbers. It is a class not normally taken by younger students at Hogwarts, though some older ones may find the course intriguing.

Every Wednesday at midnight, first years are required to make their way to the astronomy tower for their weekly Astronomy class.

Rounding out the last of the towers at Hogwarts, this is where Divination classes are held regularly.

With a nice view overlooking the front of the school, the Charms professor's office truly is one of the best places to be when not dealing with the never-ending chatter of Hogwarts.

Potions, thought to be a noble art and exact science, is taught in the dungeons, seeing as many a potion don't take too kindly to sunlight.

Dark and gloomy, this is where the potions master spends his/her time when he/she isn't being annoyed by students.

Hidden by a large painting of a bowl of fruit, the kitchens are where the House Elves of Hogwarts work day and night to provide the students and staff with delicious meals.

Basically everywhere on Hogwarts property that isn't indoors. Students are free to roam the grounds on weekends, though magic is strictly forbidden.

The most famous Wizarding sport in the world, Quidditch, is played regularly at Hogwarts. There are four teams, one for each House, and they compete every year for a chance to win the Quidditch Cup!

There are five greenhouses on the Hogwarts grounds, located behind the castle. It is in here that students learn the great science of Herbology!

A fairly interesting and interactive class, Care of Magical Creatures (abbreviated CoMC) is held on the grounds of Hogwarts, as teachers usually have something amazing to show their students.

Surrounding the edge of Hogwarts, marking its borders, is the Forbidden Forest. It is strictly off-limits to those who do not wish to die a most painful death.

Located at the end of High Street in Hogsmeade, Dervish and Banges specializes in repairing all things magical, from wands to Sneakoscopes!

Your one stop shop for picking up quills! Whether you want a peacock feather, an owl feather, or even a quill made of pewter, pick it up here at Scrivenshaft's!

A tiny little tea shop located off of the beaten track in Hogsmeade. Because of the cramped space, it is a favorite for couples.

Halfway through the school year and your robes are getting too small? Have no fear, Gladrag's is here! The prime place for getting your clothing in Hogsmeade (and the only one)!

Favored mainly by older students, the Hog's Head is known to serve only Firewhiskey. The barman doesn't take too kindly to children, either. Teachers come here occasionally when they don't want to be overheard by students.

Rumored to be the most haunted building in Britain, the Shrieking Shack is located just outside of Hogsmeade Village. If you listen very closely, you can hear screams emanating from the house.

Responsible for ensuring the protection of magical families everywhere, the Ministry of Magic is located underneath London.
