September 3rd, 2011 So after a while of not being happy with the site where I originally remade it, I decided it was time to come back to Zetaboards so here we are, after a couple of days of non-stop work to move everything... Zeta certainly feels cleaner and should hopefully provide a better home for Hogwarts, The New Age Begins... here's to hoping at least. Everything has restarted from the original site (from a couple of years back) so I hope you all feel welcome to the site. Come join our little family and help us to grow! ______________ For those of you having trouble locating the register button, it's in the top left corner. Tiny I know. =C For any members who join before Tuesday 6th Sept,, 8pm GMT, bear with me as I have work so won't be on to look at applications before then. <3 |

Before Quidditch can even take off, the teams need to be completed. If you wish to be a member on your house team, sign up in the Quidditch sign up thread in your common room. Your stats will be decided by your RP post of play. All team members will be expected to post in practice threads. Failure to attend any practice your Captain announces could result in you being removed from the Team. This is how a Match post layout would happen; The match is Hufflepuff VS Ravenclaw. 1) Ravenclaw team member posts 2) Hufflepuff Team member posts 3) Ravenclaw team member posts 4) Hufflepuff team member posts And so forth. !!!!!!! The SEEKER does NOT decide if they captured the Snitch or not. An Admin will post after each Snitch attempt. You can ATTEMPT to catch it. It does not mean you will be 100% certain of success. !!!!!!! YOU CAN RAISE YOUR STATS THROUGH PRACTICE. After every practice, an admin will post the stats everyone improved on. Edited by Professor S. Nova, Sep 2 2011, 05:37 PM.

HOW STATS ARE WORKED OUT SCORING The Chaser's Score minus the Keeper's Block Keeper has 11 Block, Chaser has 14 Score. 14 minus 11 = 3 Unless a Chaser of the defending team intercepts and gets a touch on the ball, the Chaser would score. If the number after subtracting the Block from the Score is 0 or in the minus zone, the Keeper would successfully block the score attempt. PASSING To successfully pass, you take the player's Throw stat and subtract each character who tries to intercept the Quaffle's Intercept stat. Throw stat of a Chaser is 16. The three Chasers on the other team attempt to intercept. Their intercept stats are 3, 6 and 4. 16 - 3 - 6 - 4 = 3. The pass would be successful. 0 or in the minus would result in the last person to touch the ball to successfully intercept the ball. BLUDGERS The Beater's Strength stat minus the target's Evasion. If the number is 1 or over, the Bludger clips the player. If the number is 0 or in the minus region, the target successfully evades the Bludger. THE SNITCH A Seeker's Catch decreases if hit with a Bludger in the game. In order to be the Seeker who will successfully capture the Snitch, the Seeker has to have the best Catch of both Seekers. Sight and Speed also play a part. If you're not fast enough, the Snitch will get away. The Admin will post success or fail for each Snitch Capture attempt. Either the snitch will get away and the Admin will state where it's headed or the Seeker will successfully capture it. Both stats and RP are taken into account. SPEED The faster a player is, the faster they can move. It's that simple. |
