I'm by no means "rich" so to all you "rich" people out there, I hate you... just joking.
Renting one small apartment (if it can be called that) my own entry at least. Just enough room to play the Kinect Setup

http://starsrpd.net23.net/ Here you can check out my RE collection and lightsign in action. (I designed the website).

Setup: Koda sound amplifier, 2x Sony 150w speakers. Samsung Full HD 32", Xbox 360 Slim, Kinect, TB x12.
Random Items: IPad, Halo picture, Leah Remini signed picture, Skateboarding picture, Driver collectors edition, Stars RPD lightsign.
Gifts: Speakers, thanks to my brother. IPad, thanks to my mom. Skateboarding picture, thanks to a friend of mine.

Feel free to post your setup.

Chilling in a cozy little co-op community literally apartment next door to my mother. Helped her move in after a nasty bout with alcoholism and just hung around after she got her bearings. Didn't feel right leaving her after all that with the notion she could easily just fall back off. My $$'s been rough anyway so luckily, it's been mutually beneficial.

I'll post my setup tomorrow as the only thing I can tell off my head is my Xbox Slim. No Kinect.

Stealing this post from Waypoint, because I'm too lazy to type it again :P

I play on a 20" Acer S201HLbd LED monitor. It has a 1600x900 resolution at 60 Hz, 5 ms response time, 12000000:1 contrast ratio (dynamic), and 16.7 million colors. My laptop is connected to it with a VGA cable, and my Xbox is connected to it with an HDMI cable that has an HDMI-to-DVI connector to connect it to the monitor. My only complaint is that the gamma is a bit too high, but I can correct it on both my Xbox (by setting some setting that I can't remember to "Advanced") and on my laptop through display optimization. I don't even notice any motion blur (besides the game effects).

My Xbox is a 4GB 360S with a 60GB HDD installed. I cheated and bought a used HDD, cracked the case open, and popped it in! My controller is just the stock controller that came with it (looking for a nice upgrade though!).

For my audio, I have a headphone splitter with the input end plugged into my laptop's headphone port, with one side of it running to my desktop speakers, and the other side running to my Plantronics X40 headset. My Xbox is connected to the headset using the Microsoft audio adapter. I wasn't anticipating this when I first mentally constructed my setup, but my Xbox audio plays through my desktop speakers as well as my headset! :D It's nice because I can listen to music, hear TweetDeck/IM notifications, and other stuff while I'm playing.

I sit in a metal chair that I usually put pillows on to save my butt from being too sore (GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER), or I'll sit on my bed, which is directly behind me.

PICTURE TIME!

I have a fairly old (2 years or so) 360, with a 20gb HDD on it, linked up to the router downstairs through a very long and carefully concealed ethernet cable (fuck you Microsoft if you think I'm forking out 60 quid for a wireless antenna). The HDD size seemed ok at the time but now I'm thinking I should get a bigger one... Controller/headset etc is all standard factory kit, though I'm toying with getting a better headset in time for Halo 4.

My tv is this LG 22" monitor/tv, and yes I picked that picture cos of them.

My sound comes through a recently purchased set of Logitech speakers. Sometimes I use an RCA to headphone type cable from the tv, most times I use the 360 cable (after I hacked the massive chunk of plastic off so it could fit under the HDMI out. Fuck you once again, Microsoft), which provides for better sound but has the annoying habit of resetting the 360 if I change the tv input mode while the speakers are turned on.

Comfort is provided by an old and therefore very comfy armchair, of sorts.

I'd post a picture but a) I'm not on any photo sharing type websites, and b) I'm moving house on Thursday so everything's not quite where it should be... Once I've moved and set up I may do a picture.

So my first setup is for my upstairs room. This upstairs setup is what I normally use. That's a 32" 720p LCD connected to the Xbox 360S via HDMI. You can see my very limited collection of games.

This downstairs setup is what I occasionally use. That's a 50" 720p LCD connected to another Xbox 360S via HDMI. I have to recover my gamertag if I want to play on this. I mainly use the TV for Netflix and my computer monitor.

Damn it! I forgot to check again. Malarky I tells ya!!

By guessing, I'm fairly certain I have a 36" Sony (probably wrong, it was a gift) with an old but reliable AIWA system hooked up for my surround sound which I almost never use.

My Xbox Slim will be about a year old this week I believe. She's held up and held out better than my previous Arcade and Premium systems. (Note to all - Do NOT stand your console up. Found out the hard way that the way the fucker heats up melts and drips solder and screws up your disc drive/tray and such. Both of mine were stood up. Slimmy is laying sexily on her side and has been cozy ever since.)

My room still has random boxes from moving last year b/c...fuck it...I'm lazy this year :baa:

My random placings of my action figures -
Altair
Roxas
Marcus Fenix (GoW3) still packaged
Voltron 25th Anniversary Die Cast
Megazord
Godzilla
Decent array of Transformers (lost all my pre-Beast War figures and have tried to make up for since) - Few Armada series & Cybertron Series mainly inspired from Prelude to Energon for PS2. Bunch of Beast Wars mostly the main first season cast. I haz the true colored Dinobot. Not that friggin pinky-purple one.
A bunch of the Movie figures with about 5 versions of Bumblebee. I love that Camaro (both versions) setup.
Die Cast Megatron Tank Anniversary

My box of books, graphic novels and comics. Mostly Marvel junk.

About 200 or so DVDs in movies and box sets

Kingdom Hearts 2 Cardboard Standee, Custom Steel Kingdom Keyblade, a couple of swords (Katana, Barbarian) and a sweet curved falcion blade. Totally saving that for the zombie apocalypse.

:blah2:

You get the idea. :yeah: I'm a nerd. :chocolate:

Nice! I love how you word your xbox :)

The action figures I have on the left speaker is Alone in the dark surrounded by 3 spartans (not in the picture, maybe on the left of the TV) It's those spartans that came with the controllers.

Haha I'm told I'm quite the character :bag:

All my Spartans (Carter, Kat, Jun, H3 Chief and Elite) are at my job guarding my PC with a miniature Prototype Alex Mercer figure and my AvP Facehugger.

Gaming device:
Xbox 360 Slim 250 GB

Monitor:
I used to use the same monitor with my desktop computer and had to swap the VGA cable everytime I'd want to use the other one. But couple months back I bought a new monitor for Xbox use only. Unaware of this fact when I bought it, it is actually the same model MLG used for Halo in their 2011 season. (Minus HDMI compability.)
Asus 23" VH238T
-wall mounted
-VGA connection to Xbox

Sound:
I currently use Steelseries Spectrum 4xb headset, but the cord is internally damaged and the microphone won't work at all for a third week already. That is why I have to use the default Xbox 360 headset, that came with my Xbox, wrapped around my neck to use it's microphone. However, I will soon buy a new one of that Steelseries headset.

I actually recently got the Wireless Bluetooth Mic. It's earbud is a tad big but it's worth it for wireless.

I like the Turtle Beach x12. Great sound and comfort for the price, and the speakers are big. Everyone that tested my headset thinks it's super expensive. I might get the wireless edition of the X12 someday.

I have 250GB HDD, would be nice with a 500GB with all these arcade games.

On a normal day, my Xbox lives in the room that my cats also live in. So there's a bunch of cat-related things including a climbing frame and a bed that straps on to the radiator etc. My ever-thinning DVD collection also lives in that room. Along with my Xbox Elite (4th Xbox yo) connected to a 32" HDTV, with Creative Labs 5.1 surround sound, a signed (and NSFW) Bianca Beauchamp picture, three Louis Royo posters, a Jessica Rabbit picture, and the fabled and soon to be enlarged wall of ass.

If I get the house to myself for the night or stay up late, I'll relocate the Xbox downstairs to the main living room, which houses a 42" HDTV with Ministry of Sound 5.1 system. Nomnomnom.

Yep. It's a U shaped wire frame, with the points of the U hooking over the radiator, and a fluffly cloth thing that sits in the middle, which they can then lie in and be warm <3
