[Warning: This intro contains NO spoilers but reading past this is just ruining it for yourself. Spoiler BB's are very much appreciated but if ya can't, hey...this is the internet: Get Over It. But at least try to be respectful for those who haven't seen it, please.]

They have assembled and beaten the Box Office into the ground!!!

The movie could not have been more impressive...well it could have, coming from a nerd but I went in with maximum expectations and came out overly satisfied.

Somebody at DC Comics is so getting fired!! They HAD Whedon for Wonder Woman and scrapped it. There is no way Batman or the supposed Justice League is going to top this. Mainly b/c of the success of the build to it, which has NEVER been done in film as successfully before. More than 5 separate films leading up to one big orgy of action packed awesomeness.

What was your favorite scene?

Worst scene/argument?

Character?

JUST TELL ME THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't say there's a worst scene, other than when Coulson dies. But that's only because it was sad.

Best scene was definitely the WHOLE FUCKING MOVIE!

Favorite character is definitely Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr's got his character down perfect. Actually, I feel all of the actor's had their respective characters down pretty damn well. And I love the Cap's hair.

GREAT adaptation of this group.

RDJ continues his excellent portrayal of Iron Man.

Mark Ruffalo does great a Hulk.

This should prove to studio executives that Joss Whedon CAN do big budget, without it being completely mindless.

Best movie EVER!!! Tons of action and plenty of great one-liners! Definitely worth seeing and eventually owning. :D I thought Stark was done well, but I think I liked Hulk the most overall. Some of his scenes were just perfect.

I do have a question, though.

Just a few points:

I loved the film, but there was one niggle that I could not shake; I never watched the canonicalised 'The Incredible Hulk' 2008 with Edward Norton, as it's on my to-watch-list-ASAP, but I love Norton, a lot. He is a great actor. Some of my friends, and the general response, was that he did good in the film. From this perspective, it is a shame he could not be signed on for the future films under the The Marvel Cinematic Universe.
However, not knowing how Mark Ruffalo, who replaces Norton for the role of Bruce Banner/The Hulk, would take over the role, I have to say this; I wish Ruffalo was in The Incredible Hulk instead of Norton.
Why?
To me, Ruffalo is the perfect depiction of Bruce Banner. Really, he is. He was so convincing, from his almost un-acting like persona, to his slightly non-fitting (baggy) clothes, his very cool attitude even though he can rage quit faster and better than than Michael Jones, and his distant emotional psyche. Seriously, he eclipsed Robert Downey Jr. completely. :shine:

Then, when Ruffalo (as Banner) changes into The Hulk. For example:

There are other areas of the film I enjoyed, but those two above must be on the top of my favourite moments of the film. :yay:

I waited till the end-credits, and there was nothing. I am going to assume that the nice cinema I went to had a DOUCHEBAG and ended the film early (did not feel like this was the case), or Walt Disney Pictures hates the UK.

:((

That's it for now, might add a few more comments later (in new posts).

I think all of Yellow's posts should have Spoiler Tags. It makes it so it's actually possible to read them. ;)
