With Magic Mike following 50 Shades, the US population will increase by 50% sometime next spring. We're going to need that healthcare reform.
I'm not so sure about that. I think half the male population are going to think rape is OK now, and the other half are going to be so annoyed by women that they're not going to want to have sex with them anymore.

What really bothered me about the free health care issue is peoples main argument is "But you won't get to choose your doctor!"

Yeah, well maybe if we didn't have over 9,000 doctors in on local area, we wouldn't have to worry about choosing Dr Mengele or Dr Dolittle instead of Dr Green (Clooney Swoon :cloud9:).

I wouldn't have a problem with a government system where people fucking help each other with just about anything, so-to-speak. Then again, I'm all for freedom of choice and all that jazz...but it's overly abused and the little people pay the price. I can't say I'm too happy to be from a place where the rich actually publicly fight to NOT be taxed. This country will never be anything close to great again until it does away with the class system. People oughta be equal in most senses.

Still works out to a 50% increase! :P

Related: I like how dark you go sometimes. Like to places I hadn't considered.

I won't read 50 Shades and I won't see Magic Mike. I'll still be gettin' that poontang LEGIT, with no population increase. *snip*snip*

Been on a rewatch of the Saw series the past few weeks; the following scene from Saw VI has one of the most well-articulated speeches about the healthcare system that I've ever heard. Watch this, it's less than four minutes long and, despite being from a Saw film, contains no gore or horror.

Powerful stuff.

Interesting fallout from the Obamacare on the "Margin Loss Ratio" - got a letter from my carrier that their expenditures last year did not amount to 80% of our premiums spent on health care costs, and that a rebate would be issued for the difference. Probably won't be much, but sounds promising.
