ok, so i recieved today a bunch of redeemable codes for mass effect 3, which i have to get!!!! BUT being silly EA, they couldn't just give normal XBL codes, i have to redeem them using my origin account. So, i remember making an EA account last year when i bought mass effect 2, as you need one to activate the cerberus network, but the email i used back then i don't have anymore, it's gone, like, for good, and theres noway of logging out and using a different account on mass effect hoemscreens. I've tried logging into EA and BSN (bioware Social Network) using my log ins for xbox live, and even getting an account on BSN using my gamertag as the username, thinking it will sync with my XBL account (like bungie.net) but still no luck :'( I've been reading a load of forums, and alot of people are having the same problem, i just really want to get my bonus content from these codes, but have no idea how to sync my accounts, even if i could find out which email and password i used to get into mass effect 2 will help me, because then i can just log into EA with those, and bobs your uncle. Does anyone know anything about this? Or more importantly, know how to find out your user email and password from an Ea game you have already signed up with? oh, and this...

Simples, contact support. They will use magic their back-end system tricks and give you a chance to use the codes (possibly by transferring your old EA account on to a new one, or making a new one proper, or something else). Email them (or use their online support form, if they have one), tell them the exact problem, and see what they say. Remember, this is an EA issue, but it won't hurt to email BSN as well; if you do contact both, make sure you say to each party, EA and BSN, that you are contacting both. You don't want two different separate solutions, so make sure to let both know that you are contacting both EA and BSN. |

Yeah, so this sucks big time. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the issue. I can't remember how I set mine up, or when, but I think it was fairly recently, maybe with ME or ME2. I thought you just entered the email associated with your GT, and use your GT as your name... Can't you just create a new account? Or does the one you had link to other DLC etc that you had? |

i have no idea, thats what i thought you would do, i've used my gt as my username, and the log ins i use on xbl for the account, i tried talking to an admin on their live chat today, and i'm no further on, just kept saying it's bioware's problem, and to go to them, when you click help on bioware, puts you back through to EA!!!!!!!! F**K!!! Why can't they give out normal XBL codes so people didn't have to piss around with this shit!! Rage-mode activated people, i do apolagise
